At around 6 years old, Zac has sadly found himself in rescue through no fault of his own. He is believed to be a Labrador–Spaniel mix, weighing approximately 18.7 kg. Zac is a whirlwind of joy who loves life and absolutely adores human company. He gets on well with other dogs and has previously lived with cats. Zac can display resource guarding behaviours with items he considers valuable. This might be anything from an empty packet he’s picked up on a walk to a ball he’s decided is especially important that day. With positive management, he will usually give up these “special” items when offered an alternative, such as a tasty treat. As a precaution, we recommend that Zac is not rehomed with young children. Although Zac can sometimes place high value on certain objects, he truly is a brilliant little dog. He’s equally happy going for long walks, playing fetch, or snuggling up on the sofa. He already knows “sit” and “down,” and with a bit of training (and a few treats!), this clever boy will no doubt learn plenty more. Zac really does deserve his happy ever after — could you be the one to give it to him? He is fully vaccinated, microchipped, treated for parasites, assessed, and neutered.
