Belle je kříženec velikosti kolie, kolem tří let stará. Prošla testem s kočkami. Potřebuje domácího psa. Respektující děti od 12 let. Belle se nedávno dostala do naší péče z veřejného shelteru Botosani v Rumunsku. Je to nejkrásnější dívka s nejduchovnějšími očima. Ve shelteru byla vystrašená a schovávala se, ale ve svém britském dočasném domě je mnohem sebevědomější a hraje si s ostatními psy. Je to laskavý pes, který bude potřebovat dalšího psa jako plnohodnotného obyvatele ve svém trvalém domě. Stále je trochu zdrženlivá vůči novým lidem, ale každý den získává více sebevědomí. Dobře se vede s bezpečnou kočkou ze záchrany a mohla by žít s respektujícími dětmi od 12 let. Je krásná všemi způsoby. Belle byla dočasně uložena Norwich Norfolk. Podmínky pro adopci Když přijmete psa od Safe Rescue, musíte použít hadici. Tím se váš pes ochrání: váš nový pes bude nervózní a nebude vám důvěřovat, a nebudete vědět, jaké situace mohou vašeho psa rozrušit. Pokud se váš pes uplačí, hadice je jediný způsob, jak zabránit útěku vašeho psa (mnoho psů může uniknout z obojku a/nebo sedačky). Bude potřeba minimálně 3–6 měsíců, aby se váš pes uklidnil a vy jste si ho celým plně znali (délka je delší pro nervózní psy). Hadice musí být vždy použita během tohoto období uklidňování. I poté, co se pes uklidní, je nejbezpečnější použít hadici v situacích, kdy se pes může strachovat (např. návštěva nových míst, okolo neznámých lidí, u veterináře), nebo v situacích, kde mohou nastat neočekávané triggerové faktory (např. kolem ohňostrojů). Nervózní psi mohou vždy nosit hadici jako záložní bezpečnostní opatření. Hadice je bezpečnostní zařízení a nikdy nesmí být použita jako nástroj tréninku. Použití hadice k aplikování tlaku na krk psa je škodlivé. Pokud pes tahejí hadici, můžeme vám poradit s tréninkovými metodami, které nezpůsobí škodu. Jakmile se pes uklidní, můžete zvážit použití sedačky (spolu s hadicí), pokud pes bude komfortní během nasazení. Většina sedaček není proti útěku, ale sedačky se řemenem za žebrami (např. Ruffwear Webmaster nebo Perfect Fit Sedáky) jsou bezpečnější. Retrakční / roztažné hadice nesmí být použity na naše psy. Adopce psa musí být vyzvednutá z ochrany a převezena přímo domů v bezpečné ocelové kapse. Oplotění a brány musí být minimálně 5 stop vysoké a bezpečné. **FOSTER UPDATE** Belle has been with us 2 months and has been an absolute joy. She has proved that she bonds strongly with her resident humans and likes to be their constant companion. Once she knows the daily routine she is always first in the queue, especially when it comes to food! She loves lots of fusses and in particular belly rubs. She is a little bit cheeky which is very endearing! Her recall in secure spaces is absolutely perfect. She is still unsure of strangers but is getting braver. All in all she is a very sweet and gentle character that really deserves her happily ever after home. Passed cat testing. Needs resident dog. Respectful children 12 plus Belle is a collie sized crossbreed aged around three years old. Belle has come into our care recently from the Botosani public shelter in Romania. She is the sweetest girl with the most soulful eyes. In the shelter she was terrified and hid up but in her UK foster home she is much more confident and plays with the other dogs. She is a gentle natured girl who will need another dog as full time resident in her forever home. She is still a little shy with new people but gaining confidence daily. She is fine with the safe rescue cat and could live with respectful children aged twelve plus. She is every kind of beautiful. Senior dogs (10+ years): £150–£250 (depending on age and individual needs). Adoption Terms & Conditions When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). It will take AT LEAST 3-6 months for your dog to settle-in and for you to know your dog fully (longer for nervous dogs). The slip lead must ALWAYS be used during this settling-in period. Even after your dog is settled, it is safest to use the slip lead in situations where your dog may become scared (e.g. visiting new places, around unfamiliar people, at the vet), and it situations where unexpected triggers might happen (e.g. around bonfire night). Nervous dogs may always need to wear a slip-lead as a back-up safety measure. The slip lead is a safety device and must NEVER be used as a training tool. Using the lead to apply pressure to the dog’s neck is damaging. If your dog pulls on the lead, then we can advise you on training methods that avoid harm. Once your dog is settled, you may want to consider using a harness (together with the slip lead) if your dog is comfortable with being handled when it is fitted. Most harnesses are not escape-proof, but harnesses with a strap behind the ribcage (e.g. Ruffwear Webmaster or Perfect Fit Harnesses) are safer. Retractable / extendable leads must never be used on our dogs. Adopted dogs must be collected from the rescue and transported straight home in a secure metal crate.
