Belle è un incrocio di taglia collie che ha circa tre anni. Ha superato il test con i gatti. Richiede un cane residente. Bambini rispettosi dai 12 anni in su. Belle è entrata nel nostro affidamento da poco dal rifugio pubblico di Botosani in Romania. È la ragazza più dolce con gli occhi più commossi. Nel rifugio era terrorizzata e si nascondeva ma nella sua casa di accoglienza in Inghilterra è molto più sicura e gioca con gli altri cani. È una ragazza di natura dolce che avrà bisogno di un altro cane come residente a tempo pieno nella sua casa per sempre. È ancora un po' timida con le persone nuove ma sta guadagnando fiducia ogni giorno. È a posto con il gatto protetto e potrebbe vivere con bambini rispettosi dai 12 anni in su. È bella in ogni modo. Belle è stata in affidamento a Norwich Norfolk. Se sei interessato, manda un messaggio o chiama tra le 9 del mattino e le 17 da lunedì a venerdì o tra le 9 del mattino e le 16 del sabato. Le quote di adozione sono: Cuccioli già castrati e tutti i cani adulti: £430. Cuccioli non castrati con contratti di castrazione: £530 (riceverai un rimborso di £100 una volta che ci invierai la prova della castrazione). Cani anziani (10 anni o più): £150-£250 (in base all'età e alle esigenze individuali). Condizioni e termini di adozione Quando adotti un cane di Safe Rescue, DEVI usare una guinzaglio a scivolo. Questo terrà il tuo cane al sicuro: il tuo nuovo cane sarà nervoso e non ti farà fiducia, e non saprai quali situazioni potrebbero turbarlo. Se il tuo cane si spaventa, allora il guinzaglio a scivolo è l'unica via per evitare che fugga (molti cani possono sfuggire da collare e/o guinzaglio). Ci vorranno ALMENO 3-6 mesi perché il tuo cane si abitui e tu lo conosca bene (più a lungo per i cani ansiosi). Il guinzaglio a scivolo deve essere SEMPRE utilizzato durante questo periodo di adattamento. Anche dopo che il cane si è abituato, è più sicuro usare il guinzaglio a scivolo in situazioni in cui il cane potrebbe spaventarsi (es. visitare posti nuovi, vicino a persone sconosciute, dal veterinario), e in situazioni in cui potrebbero verificarsi trigger inaspettati (es. intorno al Ringraziamento). I cani ansiosi potrebbero dover indossare sempre un guinzaglio a scivolo come misura di sicurezza aggiuntiva. Il guinzaglio a scivolo è un dispositivo di sicurezza e mai deve essere utilizzato come strumento di addestramento. Usare il guinzaglio per applicare pressione sul collo del cane è dannoso. Se il tuo cane tira il guinzaglio, possiamo consigliarti metodi di addestramento che evitano danni. Una volta che il tuo cane si è abituato, potresti voler considerare di usare una cinghia (insieme al guinzaglio a scivolo) se il cane è comodo con il contatto quando è fissata. La maggior parte delle cingie non è antifuga, ma le cingie con una cinghia dietro le costole (es. Ruffwear Webmaster o Perfect Fit Harnesses) sono più sicure. **FOSTER UPDATE** Belle has been with us 2 months and has been an absolute joy. She has proved that she bonds strongly with her resident humans and likes to be their constant companion. Once she knows the daily routine she is always first in the queue, especially when it comes to food! She loves lots of fusses and in particular belly rubs. She is a little bit cheeky which is very endearing! Her recall in secure spaces is absolutely perfect. She is still unsure of strangers but is getting braver. All in all she is a very sweet and gentle character that really deserves her happily ever after home. Passed cat testing. Needs resident dog. Respectful children 12 plus Belle is a collie sized crossbreed aged around three years old. Belle has come into our care recently from the Botosani public shelter in Romania. She is the sweetest girl with the most soulful eyes. In the shelter she was terrified and hid up but in her UK foster home she is much more confident and plays with the other dogs. She is a gentle natured girl who will need another dog as full time resident in her forever home. She is still a little shy with new people but gaining confidence daily. She is fine with the safe rescue cat and could live with respectful children aged twelve plus. She is every kind of beautiful. Adoption Donation Fees are Puppies already neutered and all adult dogs: £430. Un-neutered puppies on spay/neuter contracts: £530 (You will receive a £100 rebate once you send us proof of neutering). Senior dogs (10+ years): £150–£250 (depending on age and individual needs). Adoption Terms & Conditions When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). It will take AT LEAST 3-6 months for your dog to settle-in and for you to know your dog fully (longer for nervous dogs). The slip lead must ALWAYS be used during this settling-in period. Even after your dog is settled, it is safest to use the slip lead in situations where your dog may become scared (e.g. visiting new places, around unfamiliar people, at the vet), and it situations where unexpected triggers might happen (e.g. around bonfire night). Nervous dogs may always need to wear a slip-lead as a back-up safety measure. The slip lead is a safety device and must NEVER be used as a training tool. Using the lead to apply pressure to the dog’s neck is damaging. If your dog pulls on the lead, then we can advise you on training methods that avoid harm. Once your dog is settled, you may want to consider using a harness (together with the slip lead) if your dog is comfortable with being handled when it is fitted. Most harnesses are not escape-proof, but harnesses with a strap behind the ribcage (e.g. Ruffwear Webmaster or Perfect Fit Harnesses) are safer. Retractable / extendable leads must never be used on our dogs. Adopted dogs must be collected from the rescue and transported straight home in a secure metal crate.
