S jeho krásnou šedou bradou nebylo vhodnější jméno než Gandalf pro tohoto moudrého starého osla. Po přijetí k nám z ostrova La Palma má dlouhou historii. Přišel k nám hlavně kvůli našemu suchému a větrnému klimatu, které je skvělé pro osly, které často trpí mnoha hmyzem ve "vlhčejších zelenějších" částech ostrovů. Když přišel Gandalf měl nohy roztažené a zraněné, hodně bolel. Ale během několika dní začaly hojit a umožnit jeho silné výstřední chování projevit se. Gandalf je opravdu nejlepší jméno, protože tento osel opravdu je kouzelník, dokáže uniknout z čehokoli!

With his beautiful grey beard there was no more suited name than Gandalf for this wise old donkey. After coming to us from the island of La Palma he has a long story to tell. He came to us mainly for our dry and windy climate which is great for the donkeys which often suffer a lot from flies in the “greener wetter” parts of the islands. When Gandalf arrived his legs were open and wounded, in lots of pain. But within days they started to heal and allow his strong cheeky character to shine through. Gandalf is really the best name as this donkey really is a wizard, he can escape from anything!
