Lucia přišla k nám ve špatném stavu, hladová, s poraněnou nohou od dálky a v posledních okamžicích těhotenství. Jakmile si další den po svém příjezdu uvědomila, že je v bezpečí a všichni kolem ní jsou laskaví, cítila se dostatečně bezpečně, aby začala porod. Její porod nebyl snadný a musela být okamžitě odvezena na nouzové léčebné centrum SOS Malaga, kde byly dodány zbývající živé potomky a odstraněna infikovaná děloha. Byla také diagnostikována jako pozitivní na mediteránní onemocnění leishmaniózu a to musí být nejprve léčeno, než bude možné operovat její nohu, ale brzy Lucia bude mít operaci, která zlepší její zadní pravou tlapku. Ona sama to moc nebere, je velmi veselá a ráda je mezi lidmi. Je to volný duševní duch a má ráda chůze po přírodě. Lucia skutečně je běžkyně – rychlá, zvědavá a šťastná, když má šanci jít do dobrodružství, takže Lucia hledá pevné ohraničené domácí místo, pokud je to dům, nebo byt s zahradou. Ráda je venku. Lucia má štěstí být v dočasném péči, abychom prožila láska a klid. Procházky jsou její absolutní oblíbené věci na světě. Raději 4–5 krátkých procházek (10 minut každá) než delší, zejména kvůli její noze. Ve skutečnosti si užívá chůzi rychleji – pomáhá jí to, když se dostane k několika skokům. Chodí s velkým štěstím. Zároveň Lucia potřebuje hodně odpočinku – pro její nohu, pro její minulé traumy, je velmi vděčná za tichý čas, kdy nemá co dělat a nikdo od ní nic neužaduje. Zakrúží se do každého rohu, pohybuje ocasem jemně a spí hluboko. Lucia ráda spí s trochu světlem, dostane se trochu strach z úplné tmy. Spí velmi klidně sama a pak přijde k objímání vás v posteli ráno. Lucia opravdu miluje děti, když vidí děti, cuká, skáče a políbí je, a pak se chová klidně kolem nich, doprovází a objímá je. Chová se jako laskavá matka i ke lidským dětem. Lucia má nějaké minulé trauma, bojí se být mlátěná rychlými pohyby rukou nebo s domácími předměty, jako jsou hrnce nebo hadice. Také se bojí močení v zahradě a právě teď vytváří své močení pouze během procházek, jako by se bála trestu. To, čeho se vůbec nebá, je cokoli, co dělá dítě z dočasné péče – může křičet, házet hračky, běhat kolem a Lucia se nebojí vůbec nic spojeného s dítětem. Lucia by byla nejšťastnější v domě s jinými laskavými sociálními psy, mužskými nebo samičkami, bez rozdílu. Je hravý, sociální pes a když jsou její peskyně pryč, je trochu více znepokojená, Lucia opírá jiné psy o podporu. Ráda by měla domov, kde její lidé tráví většinu času spolu s jejím psem. Lucia je laskavý a laskavý pes, velmi měkká duše, a prožila traumu v životě, protože když se k ní přiblížíte příliš rychle, příliš silně, rovnou se na zem položí, dělá se menší. Lucia arrived to us in a bad state, starved, with broken leg from long time ago, and in the last moments of pregnancy. As soon as she realised by the next day after her arrival, that she is safe and everyone around her is kind, she felt secure enough to start labor. Her labor was not easy and she had to be rushed to the emergency clinic in SOS Malaga where the remaining living babies were delivered and her infected uterus was removed. She was also diagnosed to be positive in the Mediterranean condition Leishmaniosis and that needs to be treated first before her leg can be operated, but soon Lucia will have an operation to improve her back right paw. She doesn't really care about it herself, she is very cheerful and loves to be around people. She is a free soul and loves to wandering around in the nature. Lucia really is a runner—she’s fast, curious, and happy when she has a chance to go for an adventure, so Lucia is looking for a securely fenced home if it’s a house, or an aparment with a garden. She loves being outdoors. Lucia has the luck of being in a foster home, to experience love and peace. Walks are her absolute favorite thing in the world. She prefers 4–5 short walks (10 minutes each) over longer ones, especially because of her leg. She actually enjoys walking faster—it helps her leg when she gets to jump a bit. She power-walks so happily. At the same time, Lucia also needs a lot of rest - for her leg, for her past trauma, she is very thankful for quiet time where she has nothing to do, and noone expects anything from her. She curls up in every corner, waves her tail gently, and falls into the deepest sleep. Lucia likes to sleep with a little light on, she gets a bit scared of total darkness. She sleeps very peacefully alone and then comes to cuddle you in your bed in the morning. Lucia really loves children, when she sees children, she wiggles, jumps and kisses them, and then stays calms around them, accompanies and cuddles them. She behaves like a kind mother also with human children. Lucia does have some past trauma, she is afraid of being beaten with gast moving hands, or with household items, like pans or a water hose. She is also afraid of peeing in the garden and at the moment she only makes her pees during the walks, as if she is afraid of punishment. What she is not afraid of at all, is anything that the child of the foster home is doing - he can shout, throw toys, run around and Lucia is not afraid of anything associated with the child at all. Lucia would be happiest in a home with other kind social dogs, male or female, doesn’t matter. She is a playful, social dog and when her dog friends are gone, she is a bit more anxious, Lucia leans on other dogs for support. She would also love a home where her humans are spending most of their time together with their dog. Lucia is a kind and loving dog, a very soft soul, and she has experienced trauma in her life before, as when you approach her too rapidly, too strongly, she lays on the ground right away, making herself small. Lucia is looking for a pair of caring hands, who will spend the rest of her life with her, taking nice walks together in the nature and cuddling on the carpet in the evenings. Lucia's approximate shoulder height is 49cm.
