Lucia chegou até nós em más condições, faminta, com perna quebrada há muito tempo e no fim da gravidez. Assim que percebeu no dia seguinte à sua chegada que estava segura e que todos ao seu redor eram gentis, ela se sentiu suficientemente segura para começar o trabalho de parto. O trabalho de parto não foi fácil e ela teve que ser levada rapidamente ao pronto-socorro em SOS Málaga, onde os bebês vivos restantes foram entregues e seu útero infectado foi removido. Ela também foi diagnosticada positiva para a condição mediterrânea Leishmaniose e isso precisa ser tratado primeiro antes que sua perna seja operada, mas em breve Lucia terá uma cirurgia para melhorar sua pata traseira direita. Ela realmente não se importa com isso, é muito alegre e gosta de ficar perto das pessoas. Ela é uma alma livre e adora andar por entre a natureza. Lucia realmente é uma corredora — ela é rápida, curiosa e feliz quando tem a chance de fazer uma aventura, então Lucia está procurando um lar cercado com segurança se for uma casa, ou um apartamento com jardim. Ela adora estar ao ar livre. Lucia tem a sorte de estar em um lar temporário, para experimentar amor e paz. Caminhadas são a coisa mais querida do mundo para ela. Ela prefere 4-5 caminhadas curtas (10 minutos cada) em vez de caminhadas mais longas, especialmente por causa de sua perna. Ela realmente gosta de andar mais rápido — ajuda sua perna quando ela consegue pular um pouco. Ela caminha rapidamente tão felizmente. Ao mesmo tempo, Lucia também precisa de muito descanso - por causa de sua perna e de seu trauma passado, ela é muito agradecida pelo tempo tranquilo em que ela não precisa fazer nada e ninguém espera nada dela. Ela se enrola em todos os cantos, balança suavemente sua cauda e cai no sono mais profundo. Lucia gosta de dormir com uma luz pequena acesa, ela fica um pouco assustada com total escuridão. Ela dorme muito tranquilamente sozinha e depois vem se aninhar com você na sua cama pela manhã. Lucia realmente ama crianças, quando vê crianças, ela se mexe, pula e beija elas, e depois fica calma ao redor delas, as acompanha e se aninha com elas. Ela se comporta como uma mãe gentil também com crianças humanas. Lucia tem algum trauma passado, ela tem medo de ser batida com mãos movendo-se rapidamente, ou com objetos domésticos, como panelas ou mangueira de água. Ela também tem medo de urinar no jardim e no momento ela só faz suas necessidades durante as caminhadas, como se tivesse medo de punição. O que ela não tem medo de nenhum jeito, é qualquer coisa que a criança do lar temporário esteja fazendo - ele pode gritar, jogar brinquedos, correr em volta e Lucia não tem medo de nada associado à criança em absoluto. Lucia seria mais feliz em um lar com outros cães gentis e sociais, machos ou fêmeas, não importa. Ela é um cão juguetão, social e quando seus amigos caninos estão ausentes, ela fica um pouco mais ansiosa, Lucia apóia-se em outros cães para apoio. Ela também amaria um lar onde seus humanos passam a maior parte do tempo junto com seu cachorro. Lucia é um cão gentil e carinhoso, uma alma muito sensível e ela já sofreu trauma em sua vida, pois quando você se aproxima nela muito rapidamente, muito fortemente, ela se deita imediatamente no chão, fazendo-se pequena. Lucia está buscando um par de mãos cuidadoras, que passarão o resto de sua vida com ela, fazendo caminhadas agradáveis juntos na natureza e se aninhando no tapete nas noites. Lucia arrived to us in a bad state, starved, with broken leg from long time ago, and in the last moments of pregnancy. As soon as she realised by the next day after her arrival, that she is safe and everyone around her is kind, she felt secure enough to start labor. Her labor was not easy and she had to be rushed to the emergency clinic in SOS Malaga where the remaining living babies were delivered and her infected uterus was removed. She was also diagnosed to be positive in the Mediterranean condition Leishmaniosis and that needs to be treated first before her leg can be operated, but soon Lucia will have an operation to improve her back right paw. She doesn't really care about it herself, she is very cheerful and loves to be around people. She is a free soul and loves to wandering around in the nature. Lucia really is a runner—she’s fast, curious, and happy when she has a chance to go for an adventure, so Lucia is looking for a securely fenced home if it’s a house, or an aparment with a garden. She loves being outdoors. Lucia has the luck of being in a foster home, to experience love and peace. Walks are her absolute favorite thing in the world. She prefers 4–5 short walks (10 minutes each) over longer ones, especially because of her leg. She actually enjoys walking faster—it helps her leg when she gets to jump a bit. She power-walks so happily. At the same time, Lucia also needs a lot of rest - for her leg, for her past trauma, she is very thankful for quiet time where she has nothing to do, and noone expects anything from her. She curls up in every corner, waves her tail gently, and falls into the deepest sleep. Lucia likes to sleep with a little light on, she gets a bit scared of total darkness. She sleeps very peacefully alone and then comes to cuddle you in your bed in the morning. Lucia really loves children, when she sees children, she wiggles, jumps and kisses them, and then stays calms around them, accompanies and cuddles them. She behaves like a kind mother also with human children. Lucia does have some past trauma, she is afraid of being beaten with gast moving hands, or with household items, like pans or a water hose. She is also afraid of peeing in the garden and at the moment she only makes her pees during the walks, as if she is afraid of punishment. What she is not afraid of at all, is anything that the child of the foster home is doing - he can shout, throw toys, run around and Lucia is not afraid of anything associated with the child at all. Lucia would be happiest in a home with other kind social dogs, male or female, doesn’t matter. She is a playful, social dog and when her dog friends are gone, she is a bit more anxious, Lucia leans on other dogs for support. She would also love a home where her humans are spending most of their time together with their dog. Lucia is a kind and loving dog, a very soft soul, and she has experienced trauma in her life before, as when you approach her too rapidly, too strongly, she lays on the ground right away, making herself small. Lucia is looking for a pair of caring hands, who will spend the rest of her life with her, taking nice walks together in the nature and cuddling on the carpet in the evenings. Lucia's approximate shoulder height is 49cm.
