Pebbles ist ein 7-jähriger Labrador-Mischling, der zurückgegeben wurde, nachdem er Reaktivität gegenüber anderen Hunden gezeigt hatte. Sie arbeitet an ihrer Selbstsicherheit und kann nun mit anderen Hunden im Zentrum spazieren gehen, bleibt aber anfangs laut. Sie ist futtermotiviert, liebt das Lernen und trägt Teddybären bei Spaziergängen. Benötigt kontinuierliche Schmerzmedikamente und muss das einzige Haustier sein. Geeignet für Haushalte mit maximal 2 Personen und Kinder ab 14 Jahren. Braucht einen sicheren Garten, eine ruhige Lage und erfahrene Adoptiveltern, die ihre Ausbildung fortsetzen können. Sehr zärtlich, sobald sie sich eingewöhnt hat, schätzt aber ihre Unabhängigkeit.

Pebbles came into us originally having been found as a stray, she was rehomed but returned shortly after due to showing some unwanted behaviours when seeing other dogs. This is something she has been working on and while still vocal towards them initially she has been able to walk with other dogs the centre. She loves to learn and would benefit from adopters interested in helping her to continue to build her confidence around other dogs once settled in the home. She is a real foodie so this will help with any training but can mean she is an opportunist when it comes to snacks left within her reach! Pebbles is on pain relief for a medical condition which will be ongoing, we can discuss this with you in further detail should you be found to be a match. Once she knows you, Pebbles loves a cuddle and a fuss though can also be independent at times. She loves a teddy and will often carry one with her on walks. Pebbles is a sweet 7 year old Labrador X who is very much a country girl with a zest for the outside! Therefore she is looking for a fairly active family that can keep her physically and mentally entertained with lots of walks and adventures. She would prefer a quieter home location with access to quieter walking routes. Pebbles is underconfident around other dogs and can be vocal towards them initially so will need to be kept on lead when in public. If introduced in the right way, she has shown she can walk with other dogs but prefers for them not to be in her personal space. Pebbles will need to be the only pet in the home. Pebbles is a friendly girl and has the potential to live with children aged 14 and older, would need a household with no more than 2 people in the home, who can appreciate she may not want to be handled all the time. She loves being outside and would like her own secure garden to run around in and play. Ideally her home would have no neighbouring dogs or the ability to manage this so dogs are not outside in the garden at the same time as Pebbles could find this stressful. Once settled, leaving hours could be introduced and she should be ok to be left for short periods of time.
