Schöner Benji ist eines von fünf Welpen, die von seiner Mutter Sunshine geboren wurden, die eine großartige Mutter für die gesamte Wurfgruppe war. Benji ist der ruhigere Mitglied des Wurfs mit einer wundervollen sanften Natur und einem sehr niedlichen Temperament. Er ist gut mit Kindern, genießt die Gesellschaft anderer Hunde und hat ein natürlich gehorsames Wesen, was ihn zu einem lohnenden Welpen zum Trainieren machen sollte. Er wird voraussichtlich bei voller Ausbildung etwa die Größe eines Labrador haben. Seine Mutter, Sunshine, wiegt 28 kg, also sollten die zukünftigen Familie von Benji darauf vorbereitet sein, einen mittelgroßen bis großen Hund zu haben, wenn er heranwächst. Benji ist noch ein junger Welpe, sodass er alle üblichen Anleitung, Geduld und Konsistenz benötigen wird, während er die Welt lernt. Mit weiterem Training, Sozialisierung und Liebe hat Benji alles, was nötig ist, um ein wunderbarer Familienbegleiter zu werden. Benji wird vollständig geimpft und mit umfassenden Gesundheitschecks ankommen, darunter: Die meisten unserer Hunde wurden als junge Welpen verlassen, als unerwünschte Würfe weggeworfen, was oft in Portugal der Fall ist, wo Kastrierung nicht so häufig wie im Vereinigten Königreich ist. Nach der Rettung verbringen alle unsere Welpen Zeit in privaten Tierheimen und Pflegefamilien, was bedeutet, dass sie glücklich, gesund und gut sozialisiert ankommen. He has a lovely, gentle nature and a wonderfully sweet temperament—but he is also a real social butterfly! Benji is great with strangers and loves nothing more than rolling over to show new friends his belly. He enjoys meeting everyone, whether they have two legs or four, and happily accompanies his foster family to the local pub, on doggy playdates and on trips to Redfields Garden Centre, where he receives plenty of attention and cuddles. He loves other dogs and enjoys playing with them, but he is confident and people-focused enough to live happily as an only dog. He could therefore be considered for a home with or without another suitable resident dog. Benji also enjoys playing with children and would make a lovely addition to a family. He is good on the lead, enjoys getting out and about, and approaches new people and experiences with enthusiasm. Naturally eager to please and extremely food-focused, Benji should be a very rewarding puppy to train. Food is definitely the way to his heart—and makes teaching him new things much easier! Benji is expected to grow to approximately Labrador size when fully grown, similar to his mum, Sunshine. He is still a young puppy and will need the usual patience, guidance and consistency as he continues learning about the world. With ongoing training, socialisation and plenty of love, Benji has all the makings of a wonderful family companion. Benji is fully vaccinated and has had comprehensive health checks, including: Most of our dogs have been found abandoned as young pups, discarded as unwanted litters, as is often the case in Portugal where neutering is not as common as in the UK.
