Im Alter von nur 1 Jahr hat dieser attraktive Junge bereits einen langen Weg hinter sich. In den letzten 6 Monaten hat er an einem intensiven Rehabilitationsprogramm gearbeitet und lernt, sich in der Welt um ihn herum sicher und selbstbewusst zu fühlen. Die Käfighaltung war für ihn zu stressig, aber in den letzten 4 Monaten wächst er in einer Pflegefamilie richtig auf, wo er endlich entspannen und seine wahre Persönlichkeit zum Vorschein bringen kann. Mit Menschen, denen er vertraut, ist er äußerst zärtlich, spielenlustig und voller Liebe. Wie jeder Labrador liebt er es, mit Essen verwöhnt zu werden, und genießt seine positiv verstärkte Ausbildung. Er begrüßt Sie oft mit einem großen Schwanzwedeln und seinem Lieblingstier zum Beißen. Er sucht nun nach einem „Pflegeplatz zur Adoption“, der ihn weiterhin auf diesem Weg unterstützen kann. Er benötigt geduldige und erfahrene Besitzer, die sich der fortwährenden Ausbildung verpflichtet fühlen, insbesondere wenn sie außerhalb des Komforts seines Zuhauses sind. Die neue Familie muss auch mindestens eine Person zu Hause haben, damit er allmählich lernen kann, dass es in Ordnung ist, kurz alleine zu sein. Sein neues Zuhause muss innerhalb von 1 Stunde vom Zentrum entfernt sein, da er sehr besorgt über Autofahrten ist und das RSPCA-Team so auch weiterhin Unterstützung leisten kann, sobald er im Zuhause ist. Charlie kann mit einem anderen gut passenden Hund leben, solange dieser kastriert, vollständig geimpft, ruhig und selbstbewusst ist und für beide Hunde passt. Er ist ein so süßer Hund und verdient es, jemanden zu finden, der den Rest seines Weges mit ihm geht. Können Sie das sein?

At just 1 years old, this handsome boy has already been on a long journey. Over the past 9 months he has been working through his rehabilitation training, learning how to feel safe and confident in the world around him. Kennel life proved too stressful for him, but for the last 5 months he has been thriving in a foster home, where he’s finally be able to relax and his true personality start to shine. With people he trusts he is incredibly affectionate, playful and full of love. Like any Labrador, food is the way to his heart and he enjoys his positively reinforced training and he will often greet you with a big waggy body and his favourite dinosaur to mouth. He is now looking for a “foster in view to adopt” home that can continue supporting him on this journey. He will need patient and knowledgeable owners committed to his ongoing training, particularly when in new environments and car travel. His new family will also need to have at least one person at home at all times to begin with, so he can gradually learn that being alone for short periods is ok. A home within 1.5hrs of the centre would be most ideal, due to how worried he is of car travel and so the RSPCA team can continue to support him once in the home too. Charlie may be able to live with another suitably matched dog, as long as they are neutered, fully vaccinated, calm and confident and is right for both dogs. He is such a sweet dog and deserves to find someone who can walk the rest of his journey with him. Could this be you?
