À peine âgé de 1 an, ce beau garçon a déjà suivi un long chemin. Au cours des 6 derniers mois, il a participé à un programme intensif de réadaptation, apprenant à se sentir en sécurité et confiant dans le monde qui l'entoure. La vie en cage s'est révélée trop stressante pour lui, mais au cours des 4 derniers mois, il prospère dans un foyer d'accueil, où il peut enfin se détendre et laisser son vrai caractère s'exprimer. Avec les personnes qu'il fait confiance, il est extrêmement affectueux, joueur et plein d'amour. Comme tout labrador, la nourriture est le chemin vers son cœur et il apprécie sa formation renforcée positivement et il vous accueillera souvent avec une grande queue qui remue et son dinosaure favori à mâchouiller. Il cherche maintenant un foyer "d'accueil en vue d'adoption" capable de continuer à le soutenir sur ce parcours. Il aura besoin de maîtres patients et expérimentés engagés dans son entraînement continu, en particulier lorsqu'ils sont en dehors du confort de leur maison. Sa nouvelle famille devra également avoir au moins une personne à la maison en permanence, afin qu'il apprenne progressivement que rester seul pendant de courtes périodes est acceptable. Sa nouvelle maison devra être située à moins d'une heure du centre, en raison de son anxiété liée aux trajets en voiture et afin que l'équipe RSPCA puisse continuer à le soutenir une fois installé à la maison. Charlie peut vivre avec un autre chien convenablement adapté, à condition qu'ils soient stérilisés, totalement vaccinés, calmes et confiants et adaptés aux deux chiens. C'est un si gentil chien et mérite de trouver quelqu'un qui puisse terminer le reste de son parcours avec lui. Est-ce vous?

At just 1 years old, this handsome boy has already been on a long journey. Over the past 6 months he has been working through an intense rehabilitation programme, learning how to feel safe and confident in the world around him. Kennel life proved too stressful for him, but for the last 4 months he has been thriving in a foster home, where he’s finally be able to relax and his true personality start to shine. With people he trusts he is incredibly affectionate, playful and full of love. Like any Labrador, food is the way to his heart and he enjoys his positively reinforced training and he will often greet you with a big waggy body and his favourite dinosaur to mouth. He is now looking for a “foster in view to adopt” home that can continue supporting him on this journey. He will need patient and knowledgeable owners committed to his ongoing training, especially when outside the comfort of his home. His new family will also need to have at least one person at home at all times (min. 2 adults in the household), so he can gradually learn that being alone for short periods is ok. His new home will need to be within 1 hour of the centre, due to how worried he is of car travel and so the RSPCA team can continue to support him once in the home too. Charlie may be able to live with another suitably matched dog, as long as they are neutered, fully vaccinated, calm and confident and is right for both dogs. He is such a sweet dog and deserves to find someone who can walk the rest of his journey with him. Could this be you?
