NOVA HAT IHRE AUGENOPERATION UND SIE KANN NUN NACH IHRER NEUEN FAMILIE SUCHEN… Nova ist ein Mastiff-Mischling. Früher wurde sie für die Zucht verwendet, dann abgegeben. Vor ihrer Rettung aus einer bevorstehenden PTS war Nova bereits ein Jahr im Tierheim. Nova litt an Distichiasis und unterzog sich einer „Entropium“-Augenoperation, nachdem sie in unsere Pflege gekommen ist (mit Ihrer großzügigen Unterstützung). Nova hat sich gut von dieser Operation erholt. Nova geht gut an der Leine, ist aber eine starke Hündin und benötigt einen starken Besitzer. Nova bellt auf andere Hunde und war nicht sehr gesellig mit den anderen Hunden in den Käfigen. Sie bellt auch während des Spaziergangs. Nova kann manchmal noch ängstlich, vorsichtig und gestresst wirken. Sie benötigt mehrere Besuche eines potenziellen Adopteurs, um eine Beziehung aus Vertrauen und Sicherheit aufzubauen. Sie benötigt ein „einziges Tier“-Zuhause und wurde noch nicht auf Katzen getestet. Ein „Erwachsenen-only“-Zuhause ist ihre ideale Situation, obwohl ältere Kinder im Haushalt des potenziellen Adopteurs möglicherweise in weiterer Diskussion und geplanter Einführung akzeptabel sein könnten. Nach einer schwierigen „frühen Lebensphase“ hat Nova Resilienz und Mut gezeigt. Sie ist wirklich eine süße Dame. Mit einem zukünftigen Besitzer, der auf ihre Handhabung beraten wird und das Verständnis für ihre Vergangenheit zeigt, wird sie eine wahrhaft wunderbare Begleiterin sein. NOVA HAS HAD HER EYE OPERATION AND SHE’S NOW ABLE TO LOOK FOR HER NEW FAMILY…. Nova is a Mastiff cross breed. Previously, she was used for breeding, then dumped. Prior to being rescued from an imminent PTS, Nova was ‘in the pound’ for a year. Nova suffered from distichiasis and underwent ‘entropian’ eye surgery, once she entered our care (with your kind support). Nova has recovered well from this. Nova walks fine on the lead but is a strong dog, so will need a strong owner. Nova will bark at other dogs and hasn’t been very sociable with the other dogs in the kennels. She also likes to bark whilst being walked. Nova can still present as nervous, guarded and stressed at times. She’ll need multiple visits from a potential adopter to build up a relationship of trust and confidence. She requires an ‘only dog’ home and has not been cat tested. An ‘adult only’ home is her ideal situation, although older children in the potential adopter’s household may be fine through further discussion and planned introductions. After a difficult ‘early life’, Nova has shown resilience and courage. She’s a really sweet girl. With a future owner who will take advice on her handling going forward and show understanding of her past, she will make a truly wonderful companion.
