NOVA HA AVUTO L'OPERAZIONE OCULARE E ORA È IN GRADO DI CERCARE LA SUA NUOVA FAMIGLIA…. Nova è un incrocio Mastino. Prima era utilizzata per la riproduzione, poi abbandonata. Prima di essere salvata da un imminente PTS, Nova era "in gabbia" per un anno. Nova soffriva di distichiasi e ha subito un intervento all'occhio per l'entropion, una volta entrata nel nostro recinto (con il vostro generoso supporto). Nova si è ripresa bene. Nova cammina bene al guinzaglio ma è un cane forte, quindi avrà bisogno di un padrone forte. Nova abbaià contro altri cani e non è stata molto socievole con gli altri cani in gabbia. Le piace anche abbaiare durante le passeggiate. Nova può ancora apparire nervosa, protettiva e stressata a volte. Avrà bisogno di diverse visite da parte di un potenziale adottatore per costruire un rapporto di fiducia e sicurezza. Ha bisogno di una casa con un solo cane e non è stata testata con i gatti. Una casa "solo adulti" è la sua situazione ideale, tuttavia bambini più grandi nella casa del potenziale adottatore potrebbero andare bene attraverso ulteriori discussioni e pianificazione delle presentazioni. Dopo una difficile "giovinezza", Nova ha mostrato resistenza e coraggio. È davvero una ragazza dolce. Con un futuro proprietario che seguirà i consigli per il suo trattamento in futuro e mostrerà comprensione per il suo passato, diventerà un vero e proprio meraviglioso compagno. NOVA HAS HAD HER EYE OPERATION AND SHE’S NOW ABLE TO LOOK FOR HER NEW FAMILY…. Nova is a Mastiff cross breed. Previously, she was used for breeding, then dumped. Prior to being rescued from an imminent PTS, Nova was ‘in the pound’ for a year. Nova suffered from distichiasis and underwent ‘entropian’ eye surgery, once she entered our care (with your kind support). Nova has recovered well from this. Nova walks fine on the lead but is a strong dog, so will need a strong owner. Nova will bark at other dogs and hasn’t been very sociable with the other dogs in the kennels. She also likes to bark whilst being walked. Nova can still present as nervous, guarded and stressed at times. She’ll need multiple visits from a potential adopter to build up a relationship of trust and confidence. She requires an ‘only dog’ home and has not been cat tested. An ‘adult only’ home is her ideal situation, although older children in the potential adopter’s household may be fine through further discussion and planned introductions. After a difficult ‘early life’, Nova has shown resilience and courage. She’s a really sweet girl. With a future owner who will take advice on her handling going forward and show understanding of her past, she will make a truly wonderful companion.
