NOVA A EU SON OPÉRATION À L'OEIL ET ELLE PEUT MAINTENANT RECHERCHER SA NOUVELLE FAMILLE… Nova est un croisé Mastiff. Elle a auparavant été utilisée pour la reproduction, puis abandonnée. Avant d'être sauvée d'une mort imminente, Nova était « au refuge » pendant un an. Nova souffrait de distichies et a subi une opération oculaire « entropion », une fois entrée en notre garde (avec votre généreuse aide). Nova s'est bien remise de cela. Nova marche bien en laisse mais est un chien fort, donc elle aura besoin d'un maître fort. Nova aboie contre les autres chiens et n'a pas été très sociable avec les autres chiens dans les cages. Elle aime aussi aboyer pendant ses promenades. Nova peut encore montrer de la nervosité, de la méfiance et du stress à certains moments. Elle aura besoin de plusieurs visites d'un adoptant potentiel pour établir un lien de confiance et de sécurité. Elle nécessite un environnement « seul chien » et n’a pas été testée avec les chats. Une maison « uniquement adultes » est idéale pour elle, bien que des enfants plus âgés dans le foyer de l’adoptant puissent être acceptables après une discussion approfondie et des présentations planifiées. Après une vie difficile « précoce », Nova a montré de la résilience et du courage. C’est une fille vraiment douce. Avec un maître futur qui suivra les conseils concernant son traitement et qui comprendra son passé, elle deviendra un véritable compagnon merveilleux. Appelez pour plus d'informations. NOVA HAS HAD HER EYE OPERATION AND SHE’S NOW ABLE TO LOOK FOR HER NEW FAMILY…. Nova is a Mastiff cross breed. Previously, she was used for breeding, then dumped. Prior to being rescued from an imminent PTS, Nova was ‘in the pound’ for a year. Nova suffered from distichiasis and underwent ‘entropian’ eye surgery, once she entered our care (with your kind support). Nova has recovered well from this. Nova walks fine on the lead but is a strong dog, so will need a strong owner. Nova will bark at other dogs and hasn’t been very sociable with the other dogs in the kennels. She also likes to bark whilst being walked. Nova can still present as nervous, guarded and stressed at times. She’ll need multiple visits from a potential adopter to build up a relationship of trust and confidence. She requires an ‘only dog’ home and has not been cat tested. An ‘adult only’ home is her ideal situation, although older children in the potential adopter’s household may be fine through further discussion and planned introductions. After a difficult ‘early life’, Nova has shown resilience and courage. She’s a really sweet girl. With a future owner who will take advice on her handling going forward and show understanding of her past, she will make a truly wonderful companion.
