Dieser junge Mastiff ist ein wirklich fröhlicher und gutgelaunter Hund. Er ist aktiv und spielerisch entsprechend seines Alters und zeigt sich gegenüber allen Menschen freundlich, ohne Angst zu zeigen. Er läuft bereits recht gut an der Leine, kennt einige Grundbefehle und ist ein fleißiger Lerner. Natürlich hat er viel Kraft und man muss standhaft sein, wenn dieser große Kerl etwas Interessantes sieht. Er genießt sehr die Aufmerksamkeit von Menschen und möchte immer verwöhnt werden! Die spanische Mastiff-Rasse mit ihrer tiefen, rauhen Stimme ist sehr selbstsicher und weiß, dass sie vielen Menschen und Tieren Eindruck macht und Respekt erlangt. Obwohl sie einen starken Schutzinstinkt gegenüber Fremden hat und daher ein ausgezeichneter Wachhund ist, würde sie niemals ohne Grund angreifen. Obwohl spanische Mastins ihre Familie schützen wollen und sie bis ins Extrem verteidigen würden, können sie dank ihrer Intelligenz beurteilen, wann es notwendig ist zu handeln und wann nicht. Im Allgemeinen sind spanische Hunde sehr ausgewogen und gutmütig. Sie haben ein hohes Reizschwelle und werden nicht leicht von anderen Hunden gestört. Seine lebhafte und fröhliche Art sowie seine zarte und fast zärtliche Art gegenüber seinen Liebsten machen den spanischen Mastiff zu einem geschätzten Arbeitshund und Wachhund sowie zu einem hervorragenden Begleithund für die Familie. Der spanische Mastiff fühlt sich am wohlsten in der Mitte seiner Familie, die er auch liebt, und ist besonders zärtlich mit Kindern.
