Η Ινδία είναι ένα μικρό σκυλί από σταυροειδή φυλή, περίπου τέσσερις χρόνων. Δεν έχει δοκιμαστεί για την κατάλληλη συμπεριφορά της με γάτες. Μπορεί να ζήσει με άλλα σκυλιά ή χωρίς. Σεβαστικά παιδιά 10+ χρόνων. Η Ινδία είχε εξαγοραστεί από ένα χώρο εκτέλεσης σκύλων στη Ρουμανία και μεταφέρθηκε σε ιδιωτικό φιλανθρωπικό φροντιστήριο, όπου έχει περιμένει την ευκαιρία της για ένα σπίτι. Είναι ένα χαρούμενο κοριτσάκι που λατρεύει τα μετεωρισμούς και να είναι μέρος όλων των οικογενειακών δραστηριοτήτων. Προσαρμόζεται καλά με άλλα σκυλιά αλλά μπορεί να είναι και το μόνο σκυλί στο σπίτι. Μπορεί να ζήσει με σεβαστικά παιδιά ηλικίας 10+ χρόνων. Μετά την εξαγορά της, η Ινδία θετικοποιήθηκε για σκουριά. Έχει ολοκληρώσει την αποτελεσματική θεραπεία και πάει καλά. Ως προφύλαξη, θα συνεχίσει να λαμβάνει τακτικό μηνιαίο φάρμακο αντιπαρασιτικό, το οποίο θα παραχωρηθεί και θα σταλεί μαζί της στο σπίτι της νέας οικογένειας. Δεν θα υπάρξει καμία δαπάνη για τους υιοθετητές για αυτήν τη συνεχιζόμενη περίθαλψη. Η Ινδία φροντίστηκε από το Cromer Norfolk. Μη ορχιοτομημένα μικρά σκυλιά σε συμφωνίες ορχιοτομήσεως: £530 (Θα λάβετε ένα έκπτωση £100 όταν μας στείλετε αποδεικτικό της ορχιοτομήσεως). Σκυλιά ηλικίας 10+ ετών: £150 - £250 (ανάλογα την ηλικία και τις ιδιαίτερες ανάγκες) Οι όροι και προϋποθέσεις υιοθεσίας Όταν υιοθετήσετε ένα σκυλί από το Safe Rescue, ΠΡΕΠΕΙ να χρησιμοποιήσετε ένα γλυφίδιο ζώνης. Αυτό θα εξασφαλίσει την ασφάλεια του σκύλου σας: ο νέος σας σκύλος θα είναι φοβισμένος και δεν θα έχει εμπιστοσύνη σε εσάς, και δεν ξέρετε ποιες καταστάσεις μπορεί να ανησυχήσει το σκυλί. Αν το σκυλί σας τρομάξει, τότε το γλυφίδιο ζώνης είναι η μόνη πιθανότητα να αποφύγετε τη δραστική διαφυγή του σκύλου (πολλά σκυλιά μπορούν να δραστικοποιηθούν από το φιμάρι και/ή το φορτίο). Θα χρειαστούν ΤΟ ΕΛΑΧΙΣΤΟ 3-6 μήνες για να εισαχθεί καλά ο σκύλος και να γνωρίσετε τον σκύλο σας πλήρως (μεγαλύτερο χρονικό διάστημα για φοβισμένα σκυλιά). India is a small crossbreed aged around four years old. Not yet cat tested. Can live with or without other dogs. Respectful children 10’plus. India was rescued from a kill shelter in Romania and taken to a private shelter where she has been awaiting her chance of a home. She is a fun loving little girl who loves to walk and be a part of all family activity. She gets on well with other dogs but could also be the only dog in the home. She could live with respectful children aged ten plus. Following her rescue, India tested positive for heartworm. She has since completed successful treatment and is doing well. As a precaution, she will continue on a routine monthly anti-parasitic tablet, which will be provided and sent with her to her adoptive home. There will be no cost to adopters for this ongoing care. Adoption Donation Fees are Puppies already neutered and all adult dogs: £430. Un-neutered puppies on spay/neuter contracts: £530 (You will receive a £100 rebate once you send us proof of neutering). Senior dogs (10+ years): £150–£250 (depending on age and individual needs). Adoption Terms & Conditions When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). It will take AT LEAST 3-6 months for your dog to settle-in and for you to know your dog fully (longer for nervous dogs). The slip lead must ALWAYS be used during this settling-in period. Even after your dog is settled, it is safest to use the slip lead in situations where your dog may become scared (e.g. visiting new places, around unfamiliar people, at the vet), and it situations where unexpected triggers might happen (e.g. around bonfire night). Nervous dogs may always need to wear a slip-lead as a back-up safety measure. The slip lead is a safety device and must NEVER be used as a training tool. Using the lead to apply pressure to the dog’s neck is damaging. If your dog pulls on the lead, then we can advise you on training methods that avoid harm. Once your dog is settled, you may want to consider using a harness (together with the slip lead) if your dog is comfortable with being handled when it is fitted. Most harnesses are not escape-proof, but harnesses with a strap behind the ribcage (e.g. Ruffwear Webmaster or Perfect Fit Harnesses) are safer. Retractable / extendable leads must never be used on our dogs. Adopted dogs must be collected from the rescue and transported straight home in a secure metal crate.
