India è un piccolo incrocio di circa quattro anni. Non ancora testata con i gatti. Può vivere con o senza altri cani. Bambini rispettosi a partire da 10 anni. India è stata salvata da un rifugio di uccisione in Romania e portata in un rifugio privato dove ha aspettato la sua occasione per una casa. È una bambina divertente che ama camminare e partecipare a tutte le attività della famiglia. Ha buoni rapporti con gli altri cani ma potrebbe anche essere l'unico cane in casa. Può vivere con bambini rispettosi di età superiore ai 10 anni. Dopo il suo salvataggio, India ha dato positivo per cuoreparassiti. Ha completato con successo il trattamento e sta bene. Per precauzione, continuerà a prendere un farmaco mensile antiparassitario, che verrà fornito e spedito con lei alla sua nuova casa adottiva. Non ci saranno costi per gli adottatori per questa cura continua. India è stata in affidamento a Cromer Norfolk. Se sei interessato, invia un messaggio o chiama tra le 9:00 e le 17:00 dal lunedì al venerdì o tra le 9:00 e le 16:00 sabato. Le tariffe di adozione sono: Cuccioli già castrati e tutti i cani adulti: £430. Cuccioli non castrati con contratto di castrazione: £530 (riceverai un rimborso di £100 una volta che ci invierai la prova della castrazione). Cani anziani (10 anni e più): £150–£250 (in base all'età e alle esigenze individuali). Termini e condizioni di adozione Quando adotti un cane di Safe Rescue, devi utilizzare necessariamente una guinzaglio a scatto. Questo terrà sicuro il tuo cane: il tuo nuovo cane sarà timido e non ti farà fiducia, e tu non saprai quali situazioni potrebbero turbare il cane. Se il cane si spaventa, il guinzaglio a scatto è l'unica via per impedirgli di scappare (molti cani possono scappare da collare e/o finimenti). Ci vorranno ALMENO 3-6 mesi per far abituare il cane e conoscerlo pienamente (più tempo per i cani timidi). Il guinzaglio a scatto deve essere sempre usato durante questo periodo di adattamento. Anche dopo che il cane si è abituato, è più sicuro usare il guinzaglio a scatto in situazioni in cui il cane potrebbe spaventarsi (es. visitare luoghi nuovi, intorno a persone sconosciute, dal veterinario), e in situazioni in cui potrebbero verificarsi trigger imprevedibili (es. intorno al 5 novembre). I cani timidi potrebbero necessitare sempre di indossare un guinzaglio a scatto come misura di sicurezza aggiuntiva. Il guinzaglio a scatto è un dispositivo di sicurezza e deve mai essere utilizzato come strumento di addestramento. Applicare pressione sul collo del cane usando il guinzaglio è dannoso. Se il cane tira il guinzaglio, possiamo consigliarti metodi di addestramento che evitino danni. India is a small crossbreed aged around four years old. Not yet cat tested. Can live with or without other dogs. Respectful children 10’plus. India was rescued from a kill shelter in Romania and taken to a private shelter where she has been awaiting her chance of a home. She is a fun loving little girl who loves to walk and be a part of all family activity. She gets on well with other dogs but could also be the only dog in the home. She could live with respectful children aged ten plus. Following her rescue, India tested positive for heartworm. She has since completed successful treatment and is doing well. As a precaution, she will continue on a routine monthly anti-parasitic tablet, which will be provided and sent with her to her adoptive home. There will be no cost to adopters for this ongoing care. Adoption Donation Fees are Puppies already neutered and all adult dogs: £430. Un-neutered puppies on spay/neuter contracts: £530 (You will receive a £100 rebate once you send us proof of neutering). Senior dogs (10+ years): £150–£250 (depending on age and individual needs). Adoption Terms & Conditions When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). It will take AT LEAST 3-6 months for your dog to settle-in and for you to know your dog fully (longer for nervous dogs). The slip lead must ALWAYS be used during this settling-in period. Even after your dog is settled, it is safest to use the slip lead in situations where your dog may become scared (e.g. visiting new places, around unfamiliar people, at the vet), and it situations where unexpected triggers might happen (e.g. around bonfire night). Nervous dogs may always need to wear a slip-lead as a back-up safety measure. The slip lead is a safety device and must NEVER be used as a training tool. Using the lead to apply pressure to the dog’s neck is damaging. If your dog pulls on the lead, then we can advise you on training methods that avoid harm. Once your dog is settled, you may want to consider using a harness (together with the slip lead) if your dog is comfortable with being handled when it is fitted. Most harnesses are not escape-proof, but harnesses with a strap behind the ribcage (e.g. Ruffwear Webmaster or Perfect Fit Harnesses) are safer. Retractable / extendable leads must never be used on our dogs. Adopted dogs must be collected from the rescue and transported straight home in a secure metal crate.
