A letter arrived for her, and a interested family, with the help of a friend named Sally, offered a home to a friendly kitten. 21.07.2020 jõudis Vanakubjalt turvakodusse kaunis pikakarvaline emane kass koos kahe pojaga. Pojad leidsid kiiresti kodud, emme läks kiibituna ja steriliseerituna tagasi tolleaegse toitja juurde. 2023 sügisel selgus, et toitjad kolivad ja kolima peab ka Kirju tema jaoks oleks sobivaim elukoht maal talukassina, mitte linnakorteri nelja seina vahel.
