A playful and energetic boy with a big heart, Åke is a French Bulldog with a pedigree who charm with his lovely personality, his energy and his great love for life. He is a happy and playful boy who really loves to have something to do - especially a stick or toy nearby. Åke can become very engaged in his favorite things and sometimes almost a little obsessed with them, which means he needs help to calm down and find peace. Under the lively surface is a nice boy who is now looking for his very own home, where he gets the security, closeness and guidance he needs to feel his best. With the right family, we believe Åke has every opportunity to develop into a fantastic companion and a much-loved family member. Åke is a dog with a lot of energy and needs to get it out in a good and balanced way, but just as important is that he gets help to calm down and rest. He also needs to lose some weight, which is especially important for a French Bulldog. The veterinarian has noticed the impact of BOAS, a respiratory-related problem that can occur in short-noseed dogs and means that the airways can be narrower than normal. Therefore, it is important that his weight is kept at a healthy level and that he is aware of his breathing, especially in heat and exertion. Åke has also shown signs of allergy and currently eats only allergy food. This may mean that he also needs adapted food and possibly treatment in the future, depending on how the complaints develop. His future family therefore needs to be prepared for some veterinary responsibility. Åke is looking for a calm, safe and loving home where his needs are at the center.
