Arielle is a one-year-old adorable Australian Shepherd weighing approximately 18 kg. She arrived at the shelter after being abandoned. Arielle is shy and reserved, and will need time to build trust and form a bond with her humans. Her new environment must be peaceful, allowing her to discover it at her own pace. Once trust is established, Arielle reveals a very affectionate dog, close to humans and particularly fond of cuddles. Arielle is an intelligent and dynamic dog who will need to be sufficiently exercised, both physically and mentally. She loves walks and is also very food-motivated, which can be a real asset for working with her and reinforcing learning. However, Arielle also enjoys quieter moments! She is a non-destructive dog who loves comfort, calm, and rest. She will appreciate a family that can offer her a peaceful environment while meeting her activity needs. I like / I don't like: A little work will be needed regarding vehicles: Arielle may tend to bark at things with wheels, like cars. Her future family will need to gradually accompany her on this point, with patience and kindness. In terms of other dogs, Arielle is very sociable and enjoys their company. However, she is not compatible with cats: she tends to chase them. A family without cats will be essential. Regarding children, a family with teenagers could be considered. However, given her shyness and temperament, we will not place her in a family with young children. Arielle is an endearing, sensitive little dog full of potential. With patient, active humans who respect her pace, she can become a wonderful life companion.
