We reserve the right to charge a spay/neuter deposit for puppies, as the willingness to spay/neuter has decreased significantly in Germany and we do not want to encourage "accidental litters" or diseases such as mammary tumors or prostate cancer. The deposit is €300 for male dogs and €450 for female dogs. This money is to be paid along with the regular adoption fee and will be immediately refunded to the adopter upon proof of spay/neuter, i.e., a veterinary bill with chip number.
