Meet Bailey 🐾 When Bailey first arrived with us from the pound a few weeks ago, he was absolutely terrified. 💔 His first response to everything was to hide. He didn’t want to come out, didn’t want to see anyone and certainly didn’t want to interact with anybody. At night, when things were quiet, he would sometimes venture out, and we could catch a glimpse of him — but as soon as people appeared, Bailey disappeared again. Fast forward a few weeks, and just look at how far this boy has come. ❤️ Bailey is still shy and nervous, but he is now walking on a lead, and he’s actually beginning to look forward to his walks and enjoy getting out and about. That’s a huge step for a dog who was once too frightened to leave his hiding place. Bailey is only around two years old, and we know that with the right home, he has the potential to really blossom. But moving into a home will be a huge change for him, and we don’t want all the confidence he’s built with us to disappear. We’re looking for a patient, understanding home, ideally someone with experience of nervous Collies, who will give Bailey the time and space he needs to settle and build his confidence at his own pace. 🐾 Bailey enjoys the company of other dogs, so living with a confident, friendly dog could really help him. 🏡 He will need a super-secure garden and a family who understands that progress may be slow — but incredibly rewarding. Bailey doesn’t need someone to fix him. He simply needs someone to believe in him, give him time, and show him that the world isn’t such a scary place. ❤️ We know there’s a special person out there who will give this beautiful boy the chance he deserves. 🐾❤️
