Basil fue rescatado en mayo de 2017 debajo de una casa abandonada. Era uno de los 8 cachorros y debido a la ubicación y el miedo que tenían los cachorros, tuvimos que regresar dos veces para recoger a todos los cachorros. Todos eran muy pequeños lo que facilitó ganar su confianza. No tardó mucho y Basil se convirtió en el cachorro feliz y juguetón que debería haber sido desde el principio. Aún está en el refugio aquí con nosotros ya que nunca encontró su hogar para siempre. No obstante, es feliz y saludable y ama sus paseos.

Basil was rescued in May of 2017 from underneath an abandoned house. He was one of 8 puppies and due to the location and how scared the puppies were, we had to go back twice to get all the puppies. They were all so young which made things easier in gaining their trust. It didn't take long and Basil became the happy, playful puppy that he should have been from the beginning. He is still at the shelter here with us as he never did find his forever home. None the less, he is happy and healthy and loves his walks.
