We believe Bloom may have had a difficult start in life, and she is now searching for a calm, loving home where she can feel safe and cherished. She will need adopters who are willing to give her time, patience, and gentle guidance as she settles into family life. Once Bloom learns to trust you, she is incredibly affectionate and forms strong bonds with her people. A home where someone is around for much of the day, particularly during her initial settling-in period, would help her feel secure and supported. With unconditional love and understanding, Bloom has all the potential to blossom into a devoted and rewarding companion. Bloom is a beautiful 6-year-old Jack Russell Terrier who is looking for a patient and understanding home where she can continue to build her confidence. A very sensitive and nervous girl, Bloom can find new situations overwhelming and relies heavily on the reassurance of her canine companion, Iris, who she is currently kennelled with. For this reason, Bloom will need to be rehomed with Iris who will continue to help her navigate the world and provide her with the security she craves. She enjoys being outdoors but prefers to let her doggy friend investigate new surroundings first, and she can be worried by unfamiliar dogs when out walking, often seeking comfort behind her trusted humans. Bloom could live with sensible older secondary school-aged children who can respect her space and understand that sudden noises and movements may frighten her.
