Presentando... el muy guapo Chester!! Chester fue rescatado de un refugio público de matanza en Rumanía. Estos lugares son un infierno y pobre Chester pasó sus días haciendo todo lo posible para hacerse lo más pequeño posible y escondiéndose tratando de ser invisible. Afortunadamente, fue visto por el equipo de PPTF que lo llevó a su refugio privado y desde allí fue trasladado a nosotros en Oakwood Dog Rescue para comenzar su nueva vida. Chester es un chico muy tímido que aún no tiene ninguna confianza con las personas. Necesitará un hogar tranquilo y paciente con mucho amor, tiempo y comprensión. Con perros: Chester ha sido excelente, juguetón y respetuoso con cada perro con el que lo hemos mezclado en el refugio. Con gatos: Chester aún no ha sido probado con gatos. Chester es un perro activo joven y le encanta jugar con sus amigos. Sus niveles de energía podrían aumentar en casa, pero actualmente lo evaluamos como teniendo niveles moderados de energía. Chester nunca ha estado solo antes y por lo tanto cualquier tiempo solo podría necesitar ser construido lentamente. Tener al menos otro perro cerca debería ayudarlo a sentirse más estable, pero no debería estar solo por más de 3-4 horas debido a que nunca ha vivido en una casa antes y requiere entrenamiento. Todavía no hemos probado a Chester con una correa debido a que es nuevo en el refugio. Chester ha mostrado que no tiene ningún tipo de entrenamiento básico.

Introducing.. the ever so handsome Chester!! Chester was rescued from a public kill shelter in Romania. These places are a living hell and poor Chester spent his days making himself as small as possible and hiding away trying to be invisible. Luckily, he was spotted by the team at PPTF that took him off to their private shelter and from here, he was transferred to us at Oakwood Dog Rescue to begin his new life. Chester is a very timid boy that doesn't yet have any trust at all with people. He is going to need a calm and patient home with lots of love, time and understanding. Chester has had several viewings whilst being at the rescue but, due to his nerves, he does become very vocal and keeps his distance from anyone new. We need someone that can see past this and understand why he's so fearful of strangers because, behind all of the noise is a sensitive pup that's had a hard life and had some serious mistreatment from humans. Once Chester's trust has been earnt, he is the most loving, playful and cheeky boy, he just needs someone that's going to understand him and give him that time that he needs for him to let his guard down and let his true personality shine. With dogs: Chester has been amazing, playful and respectful of every dog that we have mixed him with at the rescue. Due to his nerves, he can be very vocal when meeting a dog for the first time but this tends to settle down after a couple of mixes once he knows that they are not going to hurt him. With cats: Chester is not yet cat tested. Chester is an active young dog and loved to play with his friends. His energy levels could increase in the home but we'd currently assess him as having moderate energy levels Chester has never been left alone before and so any time alone may need to be slowly built up. Having at least one other dog around should help him feel more settled but he shouldn't be left for any more than 3-4 hours due to him never living in a home before and requiring training We have not yet tried Chester on a lead due to being new into rescue Chester has shown to have no form of basic training
