Chia fue uno de los cuatro gatitos que habían nacido en el centro de la ciudad. Algunos de los niños locales comenzaron a alimentar a la madre y a sus gatitos y estaban muy orgullosos de hecho de que estaban cuidándolos. Lamentablemente, un día cuando llegamos a revisarlos, los niños nos dijeron que 2 de los gatitos habían sido atropellados por automóviles, así que llevamos a los dos restantes a casa. Chia aún está en la casa familiar hoy en día y es un gato muy dulce. Generalmente puede encontrarse acurrucada con los perros Yoki y Rosie.

Chia was one of four kittens who had been born in the town centre. Some of the local children began feeding the mother and her kittens and were very proud of the fact that they were taking care of them. Unfortunately, one day when we arrived to check on them, the children told us that 2 of the kittens had been hit by cars so we brought the remaining two home. Chia is still at the family home today and is such a sweet cat. She can usually be found curled up with dogs Yoki and Rosie.
