Della would thrive with a family who can continue building her confidence and provide gentle guidance as she settles into home life. She is an excitable walker and can pull on the lead, so ongoing training would help her develop better lead manners. While she can be fearful when on her own, she feels much more secure with Skylar, making it especially important that they remain together. Della could live with sensible primary school-aged children who understand that she may need a little time to get to know them. Della is a beautiful three-year-old Cocker Spaniel cross looking for a loving home where she can stay with her best friend, Skylar. The pair have lived together previously and share a very strong bond. When separated, both dogs become unsettled, so they are looking for a family who can welcome them together. Della is an affectionate girl who loves plenty of fuss, cuddles, and spending time with the people she trusts. She can be a little worried when meeting new people or exploring unfamiliar places, but with patience, reassurance, and Skylar by her side, her confidence quickly grows and her curious nature shines through.
