People are still a bit of a mystery to me. My previous owner made sure I had food and water, but I never really learned what it was like to be loved, cuddled, or included as part of a family. Because of that, I can be a little cautious when I meet new humans. I like to take my time and make sure you're kind before I fully trust you. The funny thing is, I'm actually very good on a lead! I enjoy going for walks and exploring the world beside someone. Other dogs make me feel comfortable too, and I get along well with them. I'm looking for a patient person who will let me learn that people can be gentle and loving. I may not rush into your arms on the first day, but if you give me time, I'll show you just how much love I have to give.
