Ernie is a beautiful young boy, around 2 years old and weighing approximately 18kg, who came into our care after being found abandoned near a petrol station in Bosnia. His story began when our team spotted him while returning from the shelter. Despite being alone and vulnerable, Ernie immediately approached them and offered his paw. He was given some food, but heartbreakingly, he then wandered towards other people who were chasing him away and hitting him. With such a gentle and trusting nature, it was clear that leaving him there would put him in real danger. The following day, our team went back to find him. Thankfully, they did, and Ernie was taken straight to the vet for tests and assessment.
