Friday & Truffle are a strongly bonded pair and must be adopted together Meet Friday & Truffle Friday and Truffle are two young donkeys who have grown up together at Many Tears after their mums were rescued while pregnant. They share a strong bond and will need to be adopted together. Friday is the bolder of the pair. He is confident, curious and energetic, and enjoys exploring his surroundings. He particularly enjoys jumping! Truffle is the cheekier of the two and is often the one to initiate games with Friday. He is friendly, inquisitive and loves attention. Both boys are friendly, well socialised and handled daily. They enjoy grooming and interaction with people and have experience living in mixed groups with horses, ponies and other donkeys. Friday and Truffle are looking for a home experienced in donkey care where they can remain together and continue to develop with consistent handling and plenty of enrichment. Handling & Experience As with any young donkey, they will benefit from a home that continues their positive handling and helps them develop into confident, well-mannered adults. Their Care Requirements Friday and Truffle are looking for a knowledgeable home that understands the specific needs of donkeys and can provide them with the right environment and ongoing care. Ideally, they would live out for much of the year with plenty of space to explore, while having access to suitable shelter when required. Both Friday and Truffle have a history of seedy toe, so their hoof health will need to be carefully managed. Access to dry standing and suitable stabling/shelter during prolonged wet weather is essential, alongside regular farrier care and monitoring. Type of Home Required: Companion
