Das Rifugio ist immer voll, ein Aufatmen kennen sie in der LIDA nicht. Nach wie vor sind die wirtschaftlichen Probleme, in die viele Sarden durch die Corona-Maßnahmen geraten sind, nicht überwunden. Manche Leute geben ihr Tier persönlich ab und bitten um Hilfe, manche stellen sie einfach im Karton vor das Tor der LIDA oder binden sie dort an. Und die laufende Touristensaison sorgt ebenfalls für massiven Zustrom. Es vergeht daher kaum ein Tag, an dem keine Tiere gefunden und abgegeben werden. Außerdem werden von den Helfern der LIDA ebenfalls zahlreiche Streuner aufgelesen. Niemand wird abgewiesen, auch wenn man im Rifugio wie immer am Rande des Belastbaren ist.Es waren sechs Geschwister, die am Ortsrand von Olbia gefunden wurden. Irgendjemand hatte die Kleinen dort ausgesetzt und ihrem Schicksal überlassen. Wie sehr uns dieses herzlose Verhalten immer wieder schmerzt, müssen wir ja kaum erwähnen. Aber gewöhnen werden wir uns nie daran.Eines der Geschwisterchen hat bereits sein Zuhause gefunden. Aber die fünf verbliebenen Geschwister - die vier Buben Geko, Giobbe, Giannini und Giono sowie das Mädchen Ginny - warten nun sehnsüchtig darauf, dass sie eine Chance bekommen, das Rifugio hinter sich lassen und in eine gute Zukunft starten zu können.Wir haben Ginny, Geko, Giobbe, Giannini und Giono als freundliche, liebenswerte und aufgeweckte Hundekinder kennengelernt. Wir wünschen uns für sie, dass sie bald die passenden Familien finden, die ihnen ein Traumzuhause für immer mit engem Familienanschluss schenken möchten. 24. November 2023: Während unserer Projekttour Mitte Oktober 2023 haben wir im Rifugio der LIDA auch wieder eine Kastrationsaktion durchgeführt. Zu den Kandidaten, die kastriert werden sollten, gehörten auch die Brüder Geko und Giannini.Die beiden waren zunächst etwas schüchtern und zurückhaltend, aber nach einer Weile entspannten sie sich und lagen dann relaxt auf dem Vorbereitungstisch. Unsere Streicheleinheiten genossen sie sehr, und die OP-Vorbereitungen verfolgten sie ganz ruhig und gelassen. Ihre OPs haben sie natürlich auch bestens überstanden.Es wäre schön, wenn Geko und Giannini nicht mehr allzu lange im Rifugio ausharren müssten. Man merkt ihnen an, dass sie gern menschliche Zuwendung hätten, aber viel zu wenig davon erhalten. Denn die Mitarbeiter des Rifugio können es nicht leisten, den Hunden durch individuelle Spiel- oder Schmuserunden die Aufmerksamkeit zu geben, die sie eigentlich bräuchten. Zu viele Hunde (und auch Katzen) sind täglich zu versorgen.Die Geschwister Ginny und Giobbe sind bereits in Deutschland. Im Rifugio wartet außer Geko und Giannini auch noch der Bruder Giono, den beiden endlich folgen zu können. Und wir hoffen nun sehr, dass die drei tollen Hunde auch bald ihre Köfferchen packen und ihre Reise nach Deutschland antreten dürfen.Vielleicht zu Ihnen?01. November 2024: Mitte Oktober 2024 waren wir wieder auf Team-Tour. Vier Tage lang wurden wir von engagierten Team-Mitgliedern begleitet, die unsere Partner und Hunde und Katzen kennenlernen bzw. wiedersehen wollten. Eine unserer Stationen war das Rifugio der LIDA, wo es neben schon bekannten Tieren auch etliche Neuzugänge gab.Bei unserem Besuch in der LIDA hatten wir unsere Liste mit Hunden, die wir gerne sehen wollten, fast abgearbeitet. Es fehlten nur noch Giannini, Geko und Giono. Doch bei über 700 Hunden im Canile, konnten wir sie nicht selbstständig finden und es wurde bereits dunkel draußen. Wir wollten das Canile jedoch nicht verlassen, ohne den dreien wenigstens einen kurzen Besuch abzustatten. Denn nur durch aktuelle Bilder und Videos haben sie eine Chance, wieder in den Fokus zu rücken. Somit fragten wir bei den Mitarbeitern der LIDA nach und wurden zum Gehege der drei gebracht. Giannini, Geko und Giono leben aktuell in einem kleinen Zwinger mit zu vielen anderen Hunden. Täglich sind sie extremem Stress, Lärm und Unruhe ausgesetzt. Die drei Brüder gehören zu den vielen Hunden, die als Welpe ins Canile gebracht wurden und es bisher nicht geschafft haben, nach Deutschland zu reisen. Mittlerweile haben sich die drei zu hübschen, erwachsenen Rüden entwickelt, die die Hoffnung auf ein eigenes Zuhause mit engem Familienanschluss nicht verloren haben. Ihre Geschwister Giobbe und Ginny leben bereits in Deutschland und sind tolle Familienhunde geworden.Giannini und Geko freuten sich sehr über unseren kurzen Besuch. Man merkte ihnen an, dass sie die menschliche Zuwendung genossen und gar nicht genug bekommen konnten. Giono war etwas zurückhaltender als seine Brüder. Er beobachtete uns Fremde aus sicherer Entfernung. Von dem Mitarbeiter der LIDA ließ sich Giono jedoch streicheln. Wir sind uns sicher, wäre etwas mehr Zeit gewesen, hätte Giono auch zu uns Kontakt aufgenommen.Alle drei Brüder haben einen ganz tollen und lieben Charakter. Es fehlen ihnen lediglich Menschen mit Einfühlungsvermögen, die ihnen die schönen Seiten des Lebens zeigen möchten. Ob Pflegestelle oder Zuhause: wenn Sie Giannini, Geko oder Giono die Chance auf ein besseres Leben in Deutschland ermöglichen wollen, freuen wir uns über Ihre Kontaktaufnahme. 21. September 2025: Eine Teamkollegin und ihre Tochter opferten einen Teil ihrer Urlaubszeit, um einige der Schützlinge persönlich kennenzulernen bzw. wiederzusehen. Dabei begegneten sie auch Geko und Giannini.Die beiden sind unglaublich aufgeschlossen und menschenbezogen. Sie konnten von Aufmerksamkeit und Streicheleinheiten gar nicht genug bekommen und ließen sich ausgiebig knuddeln. Berührungsängste kennen sie nicht – vielmehr zeigen sie sich stets freundlich, verschmust und voller Lebensfreude.Möchten Sie einem der beiden ein Zuhause schenken, in dem sie endlich ankommen und glücklich werden dürfen? Ach Geko, wo sollen wir nur anfangen …Eigentlich haben wir uns bei unserem Besuch im Refugio Ende Juni ganz besonders auf dich gefreut. Denn du bist einer dieser Hunde, die man nicht mehr vergisst, wenn man sie einmal kennengelernt hat. Du bist eine so zauberhafte Seele - freundlich, sanft, verschmust und mit einem Blick, der tief ins Herz geht. Deine wunderschönen bernsteinfarbenen Augen erzählen so viel und man möchte einfach nur, dass es dir gut geht.Doch als wir dein Gehege betreten haben, kamen uns schnell die Tränen. Denn die Frage bleibt: Warum bist du immer noch hier? Warum musst du Tag für Tag den tristen Tierheimalltag aushalten, obwohl du so viel Liebe zu geben hast? Deshalb wünschen wir uns von Herzen, dass Geko ganz bald nach Deutschland reisen darf. Hier wartet hoffentlich der Mensch auf ihn, der erkennt, welch besonderer Hund er ist und ihm endlich die Liebe, Geborgenheit und Aufmerksamkeit schenkt, die er so sehr verdient.Dein Bruder Giannini durfte vor Kurzem nach Deutschland reisen und hat dort seine Familie gefunden. Er meistert sein neues Leben wunderbar - warum sollte es bei dir anders sein?Geko, wir geben nicht auf! Wir werden weiter für dich hoffen, dich zeigen und alles dafür tun, dass auch du endlich deine Chance bekommst. Du hast so viel Liebe zu geben und verdienst es, nicht länger übersehen zu werden.
