Gustav gets very excited about food, as his time as a stray has made him anxious about missing meals. He will gobble everything up very quickly, so he does best on a scheduled, measured diet to make sure he doesn’t overeat. Most of the time he will stay away from human food, although it’s best not to leave plates around unsupervised. So far, Gustav has been very happy as an indoor cat and has been reluctant to explore new spaces in the house without his fosterer around. Most of the day, he’ll be sleeping or following his humans around, although he does get the occasional burst of zoomies. Gustav has three broken canine teeth, which can be monitored during his routine annual check-ups but no action is needed at the moment. Gustav would be a wonderful companion for a first-time cat owner, thanks to his impeccable manners, calm energy and affectionate nature.
