Guy-AM-I was admitted into our care after he was sadly found abandoned outside our centre with his mum and siblings. After time spent with our animal care team, he is ready to find himself a new home. Guy is a very handsome boy who has a timid nature, he enjoys being in the presence of people and is comfortable sharing his space, but prefers companionship and on his own terms. Although he is not a cat who seeks constant fuss or attention, he does like people being nearby and will enjoy gentle head rubs. Guy-AM-I has come on well with our animal care team but can still be wary of new people and unfamiliar environments, he currently does not like to be lifted and handled, so would be best suited to a family who understands that he will need time and space to settle. A calm home with plenty of cosy hiding spots where he can retreat and relax will help him feel safe and secure as he adjusts. Guy-AM-I is a chilled out boy who enjoys the simple comforts in life, he loves a comfortable cat tree, warm cosy beds and a safe space to watch the world go by! He would be happiest in a quieter home environment, rather than a busy household, where interactions could be taken at his own pace. The way to Guy's heart is through his stomach! He loves his food and tasty treats will be a great way to strengthen your bond with him! As he has a more independent nature, once settled, he would be best suited to be able to have the option to explore the outdoors. Due to his temperament, he will need a hands off approach while settling so would not be suited for living with young children. Guy-AM-I could live with other cats with gradual introductions in the home. It is unknown how he would react around dogs.
