Jana spent several months trapped inside the staircase of an apartment building. The residents fed her through a small hole, but she could not get out on her own. Our association became involved in resolving her case. The stairs had to be demolished so that Jana could be freed and rescued safely. After everything she had been through, Jana was given a chance at a new life in a safe environment.
