Meet Joan - a little lady with a big character!💛🐾 At just 18 months old, Joan is a delightful little Lurcher with a huge personality and an even bigger heart. She may be small in stature, but she's overflowing with character. Joan is an incredibly affectionate girl who adores being close to her people. If you're sitting down, don't be surprised if she gently nuzzles her way onto your lap for a cuddle – it's one of her favourite places to be. She forms lovely bonds with those she trusts and will happily soak up all the fuss and affection you have to offer. Joan arrived with us as a stray, so we don't know what her life was like before coming into our care. What we do know is that she's ready for a fresh start with a family who will help her continue to grow, learn and thrive. Joan is looking for a home where she can be the only pet. While she enjoys the company of other dogs, she has the innate chase drive typical of her breed, and her reactions can vary. She'll benefit from quieter walking routes to start and needs adopters committed to continuing her training and socialisation, building positive experiences at her pace. A secure, private garden is essential for Joan, giving her a safe space to stretch her legs, play, and relax away from the world.
