Meet Koko, a sensitive, sweet girl who has come such a long way since being rescued and is now looking for a calm, patient home where she can continue to blossom. ⚧️ Sex: Female 🎂 Age: Approx. 4 years old 🦴 Breed: Mixed 📏 Size: Small – Medium 🐱 Cat friendly: No 🐕 Dog friendly: Yes, but best as an only dog 👶 Child friendly: Yes ⚡ Energy level: Average 🏡 Ideal home: A calm and loving home with gentle, patient people who will give Koko the time she needs to feel safe, while enjoying all the love and affection she has to give. 🐾 Personality & Temperament 🐾 Koko is a truly wonderful girl with a sweet and affectionate personality. She absolutely loves going for walks and enjoys getting out, exploring and spending quality time with her people. She has a calm, shy nature but with the right environment, we believe she will continue to grow in confidence and become an incredibly loving companion. With those she trusts, Koko loves strokes, cuddles and plenty of affection and will happily soak up all the attention ❤️ Koko has been through a lot in her early life, so she can be cautious and shy with people she doesn’t know. When unfamiliar people visit the pansion, she may move away or growl because she feels unsure and does not yet trust them. This is fear and distrust rather than aggression; she does not try to attack or bite and instead chooses to create distance when she feels uncomfortable. With people she knows and trusts, we see a very different side of Koko. She enjoys cuddles and loves having one-to-one time with her favourite people. She can be a little jealous when other dogs come over for attention, which is why we feel she would be happiest as the only dog in her forever home, where she can enjoy having all the love and attention to herself.
