Nombre: Kuki. Sexo: HembraEdad: AdultoTamaño: MedioOtras características: Kuki pasó los primeros 3 años de su vida al final de una cadena, maltratada y teniendo camadas tras camadas de cachorros. Finalmente, un familiar convenció a su dueño para que nos la entregara junto con sus últimos tres cachorros, todos los cuales fueron adoptados. Dos años después, Kuki sigue en el refugio. A pesar, o quizás debido a, su anterior negligencia, ama absolutamente a las personas y es muy cariñosa. Le encanta sentarse en tus piernas para abrazos y caricias, es muy juguetona y le encanta su juguete sonoro. También es buena con niños mayores. Sin embargo, no le gusta otra animales. Tenía un amigo en el refugio, un cachorro de pastor alemán grande, pero desde que fue adoptado no hemos podido socializarla con otro perro. Tampoco puede ser rescatada con gatos. Es muy buena atrapando ratones y ratas. Kuki tiene ahora 5 años y alrededor de 17 kg.

Eventually a family member persuaded her owner to let us take her and her last three puppies, all of whom where adopted. Two years later, Kuki is still at the shelter. Despite, or maybe because of, her previous neglect she absolutely adores people and is a real sweetheart. She loves to sit on your lap for a cuddle and hugs, is very playful and loves her squeaky toy. She is also good with older kids. She doesn’t, however, love other animals. She had one friend at the shelter, a large German Shepherd puppy, but since he was adopted we haven’t been able to socialise her with another dog. She can’t be homed with cats either. She is great at catching mice and rats though. Kuki is now 5 years old and around 17kg.
