Lacey is a lovely girl with such a gentle nature. She has not experienced much life outside of the racetrack and so can find new experiences and environments worrying. Once she knows you, she likes to lean in for a cuddle and a gentle fuss, she can take time to build a bond so her new family will need to visit her several times to build a bond and she would like to visit her new home to feel comfortable with the environment before adoption. Lacey is such an angel and will make a wonderful companion to someone who can be patient with her and help her come out of her shell in her own time. Lacey is a 4 year old Greyhound. She is looking for a calm, quiet home environment as she can be a timid girl. Lacey gains a lot of confidence from being with another dog and so she is looking for a home with an existing calm dog that she can look to for reassurance and can help her settle into home life. She could join a home with children of Older Secondary School age and above who are able to appreciate her nervous nature. Lacey will need her own secure garden to provide a safe space to help her settle into her new home. Once settled, leaving hours could be introduced.
