Lemon es un joven y muy saludable Pointer. Tiene todas las características de su raza, y es casi cierto que alguien alguna vez pagó una alta cantidad por él antes de abandonarlo. Ha estado con nosotros durante mucho tiempo, y durante este período lo hemos visto cambiar. Al principio, todo lo que hacía era tratar de liberar su energía por sí mismo. Cuando estaba en el patio, perseguía mosquitos y mariposas solo. Cuando estaba dentro de su jaula, hacía lo mismo. Incluso durante paseos, nada cambió. Esto puede sonar divertido, pero no lo es. Lemon estaba solo, y nunca aprendió que lo que quiera que haga, puede hacerlo mejor junto a las personas. Sin embargo, gradualmente esto comenzó a cambiar. Quizás sea porque los años pasaron y empezó a madurar, o porque constantemente le mostramos que el contacto humano trae muchos beneficios. Un largo paseo es esencial para él, pero no es suficiente. Caminar solo no es suficiente para liberar su energía. Por eso, jugar con una pelota es una actividad excelente para él. Lemon is a young and very healthy Pointer. He has all the traits of his breed, and it is almost certain that someone once paid a high price for him before abandoning him. He has been with us for a long time, and during this period we have seen him change. At first, all he did was try to release his energy on his own. When he was outside in the yard, he would chase flies and butterflies by himself. When he was inside his kennel, he would do the same. Even during walks, nothing changed. This might sound amusing, but it really isn’t. Lemon was alone, and he had never learned that whatever he does, he can do better together with people. Gradually, however, this began to change. Perhaps it is because the years passed and he started to mature, or because we consistently showed him that human contact brings many benefits. Although he remains an extremely active dog with a lot of energy, he has started to connect with people and even seek out that connection. Now, when we enter his space to put on his harness and take him for a walk, Lemon doesn’t rush straight to the door. Instead, he jumps up on us, asking for affection. A long walk is essential for him, but it is not enough. Walking alone is not sufficient to release his energy. That is why playing with a ball is a very good activity for him. It helps him understand that play can be interactive, and since he loves chasing his ball, it is a good starting point for building communication with him. A trainer will be able to understand him better and discover everything that motivates him, keeping both his body and mind properly engaged, so he does not retreat into loneliness and butterfly chasing again. At the same time, with the person who chooses to bring him into their life, Lemon will learn to relax and enjoy moments of calm.
