Meet Leo, a sensitive and gentle soul who is searching for a very special kind of forever home. Leo came into our care through no fault of his own, and right now he is finding the world quite overwhelming. He is extremely nervous and not yet comfortable with human contact, so we’re giving him the space he needs to feel safe. Leo will need a calm, quiet home with an experience who truly understands nervous cats and is willing to let him set the pace. He isn’t a cat who will rush up for cuddles at least not yet but with time, consistency, and compassion, he has the potential to slowly build trust and confidence. We’re looking for someone who can see beyond his nervousness and appreciate the small, meaningful steps of progress along the way. Watching Leo learn that he is safe, respected, and cared for could be incredibly rewarding for the right person. If you have a peaceful home, a big heart, and the patience to let a shy cat blossom in his own time, Leo could be the quiet companion you’ve been waiting for. Sometimes the most special bonds are the ones that take a little longer to grow. Staff are here to ensure the animals find homes which suit their needs. Most animals in our care have not had the best start in life and may require special care or training. We will assess your experience and assist you in finding the right pet for your home. Although we want to start their new life with you as quickly as possible, our re-homing process can take a few weeks from start to finish. The process is as follows:
