Elegante Lewis busca un dueño con experiencia y un jardín seguro. A él le gustaría tener compañía la mayor parte del tiempo. Lewis es un chico muy cariñoso y activo que necesita ejercicio, rutina e interacción humana. Lewis ama estar cerca de sus humanos. Lewis se emociona mucho al saludar a las visitas y es muy amigable al conocer gente en la calle. Tiende a preferir a los hombres. Lewis ladra a los perros que pasan. Lewis tiene un fuerte instinto de caza y lleva una bozal durante las caminatas: perseguirá cualquier animal pequeño que vea como gatos, ardillas o ganado. Lewis no le gusta otros perros grandes machos, pero puede ser aceptable en correa. Puede proteger las golosinas. Lewis ama ir a la clínica veterinaria. Está bien recibiendo un baño y un cepillado. Lewis está acostumbrado a tener acceso a un jardín para jugar y correr. Viaja bien en el coche y disfruta de largas caminatas. La recuperación de Lewis es buena (si no hay animales pequeños por perseguir) y generalmente es bueno sin correa. Handsome Lewis is looking for an experienced owner with a secure garden. He would appreciate to have company most of the time. Lewis is a very loving and active boy who needs exercise, routine and human interaction. Lewis loves to be up close to his humans. Lewis is very excited to greet visitors and is very friendly when meeting people out and about. He tends to prefer men. Lewis barks at passing dogs. Lewis has a high prey drive and wears a muzzle on walks – he will chase any small animals he sees such as cats, squirrels or livestock. Lewis does not like other large male dogs but he can be okay on a lead. He can resource guard treats. Lewis loves going to the vet clinic. He is fine with being given a bath and being brushed. Lewis is used to having access to a garden to play and run around in. He travels fine in the car and enjoys long walks. Lewis’ recall is good (if there are no small animals to chase) and he is generally good off the lead. Lewis is quite strong on the lead and would suit an experienced owner with an understanding of high-energy sporting dog breeds. He loves running in big, open, safe spaces and any kind of outdoor adventure. Lewis is very intelligent and loves to be mentally stimulated with scent work, training or puzzle toys which keep him happy and calm. Lewis is a very affectionate boy and enjoys being close to his family, he is very loyal. Routine and company mean a lot to him. The best day for him would be to have good exercise, some training and then time relaxing with his owners. Lewis’ new home must be willing to give him time and attention.
