Rescatada en Chipre, ahora está ubicada cerca de Peacehaven y lista para encontrar su perfecto hogar para siempre. A casi 2 años de edad, Lily está en su mejor momento: llena de energía, curiosidad y afecto. Pesa alrededor de 22 kg y mide aproximadamente 60 cm en el hombro. Ella se siente bien durante el tiempo de juego, especialmente persiguiendo una pelota o disfrutando de una buena sesión con un juguete de tira. Después también está contenta relajándose para descansar merecidamente. Lily está entrenada para hacer sus necesidades en casa, es limpia y duerme profundamente toda la noche en su jaula durante hasta nueve horas. Ella ve su jaula como su espacio seguro y se calma bien después de los paseos, aunque le gusta tener a la gente cerca cuando está despierta. Ella también se comunica claramente: espera un fuerte ladrido cuando necesita salir! Meet Lily – A Sweet, Affectionate Young Dog Looking for Her Forever Home 🐾 Lily is a beautiful young mixed-breed girl with a look that hints at Labrador heritage, and a personality full of life and love. Rescued from Cyprus, she’s now based near Peacehaven and ready to find her perfect forever home. At nearly 2 years old, Lily is in her prime—full of energy, curiosity, and affection. She weighs around 22kg and stands approximately 60cm at the shoulder . She thrives on playtime, especially chasing a ball or enjoying a good tug toy session, and she’s just as happy settling down afterward for a well-earned rest. Lily is house-trained, clean, and sleeps soundly through the night in her crate for up to nine hours. She sees her crate as her safe space and settles well after walks, though she does enjoy having people around when she’s awake. She communicates clearly too—expect a loud bark when she needs to go outside! Out on walks, Lily is generally good on the lead , though she can get excited and pull if something catches her eye—especially squirrels or rabbits, as she has a strong prey drive. Her recall is improving well, and she responds reliably to a whistle when using a long line. She is friendly and sociable with other dogs when out and about, often engaging in playful , appropriate interactions—particularly with younger, energetic dogs. However, due to her high energy and enthusiasm , she would be best suited as the only dog in the home or with a similarly playful companion. She would not be suitable for a home with cats or small animals. Lily hasn’t yet been assessed around children, as she is still quite bouncy and can jump up or mouth when excited. So we think any children in her new home should be teens who are confident around dogs. With continued training and guidance, she is making great progress and shows every sign of being a wonderfully well-rounded dog. The only reason Lily is looking for a new home is due to a mismatch with the resident older dog, who cannot meet her playful needs. This has led to a few incidents driven by Lily’s excitement rather than aggression. Lily is a truly sweet, affectionate girl who is learning quickly and eager to please. In the right home—one that can match her energy, continue her training, and give her the love and structure she needs—she will make an incredibly loyal and loving companion.
