Es una niña curiosa y divertida que ya muestra visos de su personalidad juguetona. Lollipop se acerca felizmente para lamer nuestros dedos antes de salir corriendo nuevamente, como si aún estuviera decidiendo si las personas son tan interesantes como sus amigos de la jaula. Definitivamente prefiere la compañía de otros perros en este momento, pero está dispuesta a seguir su ejemplo y toma gran consuelo al tenerlos cerca. Como Lollipop se lleva muy bien con sus amigos de la jaula, necesitará un perro residente amable en su nuevo hogar para ayudarla a guiarla y darle la seguridad que necesita mientras se adapta y encuentra sus patas. Como Lollipop nunca ha vivido en un hogar antes, necesitará aprender todo sobre el entrenamiento para ir en correas, y las otras bases de la vida en casa. Sus adoptadores necesitarán ser pacientes y comprensivos mientras se adapta a un mundo completamente nuevo y gana confianza en su entorno. Lollipop podría compartir su hogar con adolescentes mayores de 16 años que tengan experiencia con perros, quienes puedan apreciar y entender que necesitará una introducción suave y tranquila al hogar y su propio espacio para adaptarse. Lollipop is a lovely Bichon Frise who has come into our care from a breeder in search of a new start. She is an inquisitive and funny little girl who is already showing glimpses of her playful personality. Lollipop will happily come over to lick our fingers before darting away again, as if she's still deciding whether people are quite as interesting as her kennel friends. Lollipop is still a nervous little girl, but she has been making lovely progress and is gradually becoming more curious about the people around her. The more time you spend with her, the more interested she becomes in you, and it is lovely to see her slowly coming out of her shell. Lollipop loves the company of other dogs and relies heavily on them for comfort and reassurance. She is happy to follow their lead and takes great confidence from having another dog around. For this reason, she will need to have a resident dog in her new home. She will be looking for a home with a male resident dog as she can sometimes be a little sassy with female dogs. Lollipop has also been making lovely progress with her harness training. She is easy to put her harness on and recently went out for her very first walk. Considering how nervous she can be, she did incredibly well! She will need plenty more gentle practice to help her become confident and comfortable with walking, and her adopters will need to continue this at her own pace. As Lollipop has never lived in a home before, she will need to learn all about house training and the other basics of home life. Her adopters will need to be patient and understanding as she adjusts to a whole new world and gains confidence in her surroundings. Lollipop could share her home with older, dog-savvy teenagers aged 16 and over who can appreciate and understand that she will need a gentle, quiet introduction to the home and her own space to settle in. She has arrived with a Grade 2 luxating patella, but her mobility appears unaffected and this may improve as she builds muscle tone. Lollipop has also arrived with severe periodontal disease and has had seven teeth extracted. Lollipop is an active and spritely little girl with a bright future ahead of her. With the support of a kind canine friend and a patient family, we hope her confidence will continue to grow and her charming personality will shine through even more. She has a travel document.
