Maisy – 3 Años de Edad Perra Terrier Maisy es una perra de raza terrier de 3 años que llegó a nuestro cuidado como animal abandonado, estaba bajo peso y tenía la piel irritada en la cabeza y el cuerpo. Maisy está mucho mejor ahora después de aplicarle diariamente una crema medicada en las zonas irritadas y una buena dieta. Es un verdadero paquete de energía: feliz, animosa y llena de vida. A Maisy le encanta todo el mundo con quien se encuentra y disfruta la compañía tanto de personas como de otros perros. Tiene una personalidad brillante y juguetona y siempre está lista para recibir atención, golosinas, juguetes y aventuras. Maisy llegó cojeando en la pata trasera, los rayos X han mostrado artritis leve, no la ralentiza mucho y ya ha comenzado a usarla mejor desde que llegó con nosotros. Teniendo esto en cuenta, necesitará ser monitoreada durante toda su vida y recibir suplementos para apoyar sus articulaciones y asesoramiento veterinario cuando sea necesario. Nos encantaría encontrar el hogar perfecto para Maisy, una familia que pueda apoyarla en este nuevo viaje y estar presente para ella mientras aprendemos más sobre su pata. Los adoptadores deben ser comprensivos y preparados para ayudarla a recuperarse si se necesita algún cuidado adicional. Maisy es una perra muy afortunada por haber llegado hasta nosotros y ahora mira hacia un futuro brillante y feliz. Maisy podría vivir con niños de todas las edades, así como con otros perros castrados. También podría vivir con gatos residentes, dependiendo de las presentaciones cuidadosas. Maisy is a 3 year old terrier girl who arrived in our care as a stray. We believe she may be a Yorkshire Terrier and Border Terrier type mix. When she first came to us, she was underweight and had sore skin on her head and body. Thanks to daily care, medicated cream, good nutrition, and plenty of TLC, Maisy is now feeling much more comfortable and enjoying life. She is an absolute bundle of beans, happy, bright, and full of character. Maisy loves everyone she meets and enjoys the company of both people and other dogs. She has a cheerful, playful nature and is always ready for fuss, treats, toys, and little adventures. When Maisy arrived, she was carrying one of her back legs. Further investigations showed some mild arthritic changes. The good news is that this doesn’t stop her enjoying life, and she is already making much better use of the leg since being in our care. To help keep her comfortable, she will need ongoing monitoring, joint supplements, and veterinary support when needed throughout her life. We would love to find a family who can continue supporting Maisy on her journey and give her the loving home she deserves. Her adopters should be prepared to work alongside their vet and provide any additional care she may need in the future. Maisy is looking for a semi active home. She enjoys exploring, sniffing, and discovering the world around her, but she is equally happy to take plenty of cuddle breaks in between adventures. She has recently been enjoying life in a foster home and has shown just how much she appreciates home comforts. Maisy has settled into a routine beautifully and is taking everything in her stride. She could potentially live with children of all ages and other neutered dogs following successful introductions. Maisy is currently living in foster with cats who prefer to keep their distance, and she has been respectful of this. Therefore, a home with a similarly confident and independent cat may be considered, subject to successful introductions and management. Maisy would also benefit from attending training classes with her new family. This will help build a strong bond, boost her confidence, and provide plenty of fun and enrichment along the way. Maisy is a joyful little girl who has embraced her second chance with both paws. Now all she needs is a loving family to help her continue thriving and enjoy the bright future she deserves.
