His time at the pound sadly ran out, and he was just hours away from being put to sleep when, at the very last moment, a space opened up and he was saved. ❤️ Now Manny is safe at Ferne, but what he truly needs is a home of his own. He is a sweet, affectionate and intelligent boy who loves treats and thrives when his brain is engaged. Manny is house trained, travels well and enjoys the company of calm, friendly dogs when off lead. He will need some continued training with his lead walking and recall, but with patience and lots of tasty rewards, we believe he has so much potential. He would love an active home where he can enjoy adventures and perhaps even try activities such as agility or scentwork. Manny will need a cat-free home and could live with children aged 13+ after careful introductions. As we don’t know much about his past, any time left alone should be built up slowly.
