Mavis es una chica realmente maravillosa con mucho amor (y babas) para darle a su familia para siempre. Le encanta su comida y esto es muy útil para su entrenamiento continuo y para aprender nuevas cosas. A Mavis le quedan necesidades médicas continuas que actualmente se gestionan con medicación. Es una chica grande y bonita con un corazón lleno de amor para dar. Llegó a nuestro cuidado después de ser encontrada como animal callejero y actualmente vive fuera del refugio en un hogar de acogida. Los cuidadores de acogida dicen que se ha adaptado a la vida en casa como si siempre hubiera estado allí y es la adición perfecta. A Mavis le encantan las comodidades de casa, incluyendo su gran cama cómoda, sus juguetes favoritos (balones de fútbol y juguetes desgastados) y todas las deliciosas golosinas que pueda imaginar. Lo último que necesita es un hogar para siempre. Mavis está entrenada para ir al baño y te lo hará saber cuando necesite salir. También está contenta estando sola durante un día completo de trabajo, sin embargo puede necesitar un poco de tiempo para adaptarse a un nuevo entorno. A Mavis le encantan sus personas favoritas y está llena de amor y cariño. Creemos que podría vivir felizmente con niños de 14 años o más que sean seguros alrededor de perros grandes. Mavis está trabajando en sus interacciones con otros perros y está aprendiendo a llevar una bozal cuando sale a pasear y está haciendo grandes progresos en su entrenamiento. Le beneficiaría tener una familia que pueda continuar su socialización con perros tranquilos una vez que se sienta más segura. Mavis is a truly wonderful girlie with lots of love (and slobber) to give her forever family. She loves her food and this is coming in very handy for her ongoing training and learning new things. Mavis does have some ongoing medical needs which are currently being managed with medication. Our teams would be happy to discuss her needs with any potential adopters. Meet our beautiful girlie Mavis. She's a big gorgeous girlie with a heart full of love to give! She arrived in our care after being found as a stray and is currently living off site in a foster home. Her foster carers say she's settled into home life like she's always been there and is the perfect addition! Mavis loves all the comforts of home including her big comfy bed, favourite toys (footballs and raggy toys) and all the tasty treats she could dream off. The last thing she needs is a forever home! Mavis is housetrained and will let you know when she needs to go out. She's also happy being left for a full working day, however may need a little time to settle into a new environment. Mavis loves her favourite people and is full of love and affection. We think she could happily live with children 14+ who are confident around larger dogs. Mavis is working on her dog interactions and is learning to wear a muzzle out and about on her walkies and is making great progress with her training! She would benefit from having a family that can continue her socialisation with calm dogs once she's feeling more confident. It's important she has her own safe and secure garden where she can play and explore.
