Meadow es una preciosa perra de 5 años de la raza Spaniel, una chica animada y cariñosa que busca su hogar para siempre. Está llena de diversión y ama sus paseos donde camina maravillosamente con la correa, lo que la convierte en una excelente compañera para aventuras al aire libre. También viaja muy bien en el coche, así que estaría encantada de unirse a ustedes en días de salida y viajes. Ha mostrado ser amistosa con múltiples perros de diferentes razas y tamaños, y durante sus paseos le gusta detenerse para hacer un breve olor de saludo a los perros que pasan. Ella ha estado sin correa con un lurcher más grande y mostró cierta juguetonería, sin embargo se preocupó un poco por su juego excesivo, por lo tanto creemos que sería mejor para un hogar con un perro más tranquilo o como el único perro. Es muy orientada a las personas y adora completamente los abrazos y la atención de sus humanos, está muy tranquila durante el día en su jaula, pero nos gustaría que fuera a un hogar donde pueda irse solita gradualmente. Creemos que podría vivir con niños más jóvenes debido a su dulce y tierna naturaleza, pero les gustaría que fueran seguros alrededor de perros ya que ella es rápida y puede saltar de emoción. Meadow está muy motivada por la comida, lo cual ayudará enormemente con su formación continua. Como fue encontrada como perra perdida, lamentablemente no tenemos historia sobre ella y actualmente le faltan algunos conocimientos básicos. Siendo un spaniel típico que ama olfatear y explorar, no tiene muy buena respuesta ante distracciones, por lo tanto necesitará estar con correa o línea larga hasta que haya aprendido a regresar. Creemos que también beneficiaría tener su propio jardín por esta razón. Todo el personal y voluntarios se han enamorado instantáneamente de esta dulce chica, así que si tienen un hueco de tamaño spaniel en sus vidas... Meadow está esperando a llenarlo.

Meadow is a beautiful 5-year-old female Spaniel, a lively and affectionate girl looking for her forever home. She’s full of fun and loves her walks where she walks beautifully on the lead, making her a wonderful companion for adventures outdoors. She also travels very well in the car, so she’d happily join you on days out and trips away. She has shown to be friendly with multiple dogs of different breeds and sizes, and on her walks likes to stop and have a brief sniff hello to the dogs that pass by. She has been off lead with a larger lurcher and did show some playfulness however was slightly worried by his OTT play so we think she would better suit a home with a calmer dog or as the only dog. She’s very people-oriented and absolutely adores cuddles and attention from her humans, she is very settled during the day in her kennel, but we would like her to go to a home where time alone can be built up. We think she could live with younger children due to her sweet, gentle nature but would like them to be confident around dogs as she is quick and can jump up out of excitement. Meadow is very food motivated, which will help greatly with her ongoing training. As she was found as a stray, we unfortunately have no history on her, and she does currently lack some basic training. Being a typical spaniel who loves to sniff and explore, she doesn’t have very good recall around distractions, so will need to be on a lead or long line until she has learned to come back. We think she would also benefit from having her own garden for this reason. All the staff and volunteers have fell instantly in love with this sweet girl, so if you have a spaniel sized hole in your lives… Meadow is waiting to fill it!
