Presentando... Feliz Maravilloso Merlin! Merlin llegó a nosotros a finales del 26 de mayo. Es un perro del Reino Unido que fue abandonado debido a un cambio en las circunstancias familiares, había vivido con su familia desde cachorro, por lo tanto está actualmente muy abrumado, confundido y extraña mucho su hogar y su familia. Merlin ha demostrado ser un chico muy energético y cariñoso. Le gusta dar caminatas con nuestros voluntarios y quizás aún más, le encanta jugar con sus juguetes especialmente cuando hay alguien cerca para lanzarle una pelota. Merlin no ha mostrado comportamientos preocupantes en la jaula y simplemente está listo para salir y entrar en una nueva casa donde pueda empezar de nuevo y tener su segunda oportunidad en una casa familiar cariñosa. Merlin se lleva bien con otros perros cuando está en la correa, puede tensarse y volverse bastante ansioso pero no ha mostrado reactividad alguna. En el resguardo, se ha mezclado con perros machos y hembras. No suele gustarle mucho los machos, ya sea que los regañe o los ignore. Con las hembras, es inconsistente, hay algunas que le gustan mucho y juega con ellas pero se aburre muy rápidamente y quiere estar con sus personas. Creemos que haría mejor en una casa como único perro, pero también consideraríamos una casa con una perra, dependiendo de la buena coincidencia: es un desafío así que necesitaría un perro tolerante y capaz de mantenerse al día con sus niveles de energía.

Introducing... Happy Marvelous Merlin! Merlin arrived with us at the end of May 26. He is a UK dog that was sadly surrendered to us due to a change in family circumstances, he'd lived with his family since he was a puppy so he's currently very overwhelmed, confused and missing his home and famliy dearly. Merlin has shown to be a very energetic and loving boy. He enjoys going for walks with our volunteers and maybe even more so, loves playing with his toys especially when there's someone around to throw a ball for him. Merlin has shown no concerning behaviours in kennels and he's just ready to get out and into a new home where he can start over again and have his second chance at a loving family home. Merlin is fine with other dogs when out on lead, he can stiffen up and get quite anxious but there has been no reactivity shown.At the rescue, he has mixed with male and female dogs. He doesn't tend to like the males, he either tells them off or ignores them. The females, he's hit and miss with, there's some he really likes and will have a play with but he gets bored very quickly and just wants to be with his people. We feel he'd do better in a home as an only dog but we would consider a home with a female dog too, based on the right match - he is a handful so would need to be tolerant dog and one that could keep up with his energy levels.
