Mick es un macho de tipo harrier hound de aproximadamente 2 años. Llegó a nuestro cuidado después de estar involucrado en un accidente de tráfico que resultó en una pierna delantera rota y una lesión en una de sus patas traseras. Como fue más de una semana después del accidente cuando pudimos atraparlo y realizar la cirugía posterior, probablemente siempre tendrá un ligero cojeo en esa pierna delantera. Dicho esto, ha recibido excelentes cuidados veterinarios y ha hecho una muy buena recuperación y la pierna no lo impide en absoluto. Aún le encantan sus caminatas y necesitará un hogar activo. Le gustan los juguetes para morder, los huesos de cuero crudo y tiene un buen apetito. Es un gran fan de la comida. Le gusta jugar y disfruta sus juguetes suaves y sus juguetes de tira. Le encanta el juego de escondite y los juegos de tirar. Es muy dulce, cariñoso y afectuoso. Está bien en la correa generalmente pero puede tirar un poco al principio por lo que necesitará algún trabajo continuo con esto. Está bien con otros perros. Necesita un hogar activo e idealmente donde tenga compañía. Una vez que ha hecho sus caminatas, es tranquilo y fácil de manejar en casa. Está entrenado para hacer sus necesidades y es bueno en el automóvil - normalmente simplemente tomará una siesta. Está castrado, vacunado completamente y con microchip (972274200056176). Su hogar ideal sería un hogar de adultos o con adolescentes (ya que no está en acogida con niños, no lo reubicaremos con niños); donde haya alguien presente la mayor parte del tiempo y con dueños que disfruten de largas caminatas y otras actividades caninas. Idealmente nos gustaría encontrarle un hogar rural (con un jardín seguro, por supuesto) o un lugar tranquilo y suburbano. Mick is a harrier hound type male aged approx 2 years. He came into our care after being involved in a road traffic accident which resulted in a broken front leg and an injury to one of his back legs. As it was over a week after the accident when we were able to catch him and subsequent surgery, he will probably always have a slight limp on that front leg. Having said that he has had great vet care and has made a very good recovery and the leg does not impede him in any way. He still loves his walks and will need an active home.He likes chew toys, rawhide bones, and has a good appetite. He is a big food fan. He loves to play and enjoys his soft toys and tug toys. He loves hide and seek and tugging games. He is very gentle, loving and affectionate.He is good on lead generally but can pull a little at the start so will need some ongoing work with this. He is good with other dogs. He needs an active home and ideally where he will have company. Once he has had his walks he is calm and easy going in the house.He is house trained and good in the car - he usually will just take a nap. He is neutered, fully vaccinated and micro-chipped (972274200056176).His ideal home would be an adult home or with teenagers (as he is not in foster with children we will not rehome him with children); where there is someone around most of the time and with owners who enjoy long walks and other doggy activities.
