Molly is a sweet girl who can be a little reserved when meeting new people, she prefers to take things at her own pace and is looking to find herself a quiet, settled home environment. Once she gets to know you, Molly's fun personality starts to shine through, she enjoys time off lead, playing with her toys and loves enrichment based puzzles and games, which help her form bonds and build her confidence with people. Molly enjoys her walks and would suit an active home who can offer her regular exercise and enrichment opportunities to use her clever collie brain. Due to her quiet personality, Molly would be best suited living in a peaceful home away from busy town life. Traffic, mainly lorries, close by can worry her, and she sometimes can try to follow moving vehicles, so quiet, calm walking routes would be best to help her feel safe. Once Molly has burnt off some energy by either playing off lead or going for a long walk, she is happy to take herself off to settle down for a quiet well deserved snooze! Molly is best suited to being the only pet in the home. She can be calm around dogs when out and about on walks, if they are polite and give her space, but can be unsure if they get too close and approach her. Due to her sensitive nature, an adult-only home would suit her best. Molly can be a little nervous with noise, new owners will need to go slow when introducing her to new environments and give her time to settle in before gradually building up her time alone, providing her with a safe space to retreat to. Molly will make a lovely companion for patient and understanding adopters who can offer her time and space to settle into their home. After some time, we know that this clever girl is sure to become a much loved member of the family!
