Murphy es muy dulce. Le gustan los juguetes suaves y está loco por las pelotas. Dejará una pelota justo a tus pies listo para jugar al juego de buscar. Es un chico inteligente. Le gusta jugar con juegos de olfato, encontrar comidas ocultas como una caza del tesoro y hacer juguetes de rompecabezas como un Kong relleno. Murphy es cariñoso y forma fuertes lazos, por las noches ama acurrucarse contigo en el sofá. A Murphy le encantan cualquier tipo de golosinas; sabe sentarse, dar la pala, esperar y quedarse. Podrá caminar kilómetros felizmente, y tengan en cuenta al aplicar que es fuerte en la correa. Sus lugares favoritos para caminar son las playas o senderos, y le encantará conocer y saludar a otros perros en el camino. Murphy específicamente defiende los calcetines y los artículos nunca deben quitársele. Se puede implementar un manejo para que no se encuentre con ningún calcetín, y si lo hace, podemos darte orientación y entrenamiento para que estés seguro si esto ocurre. Murphy encuentra el secado con toallas estresante y necesitará un enfoque tranquilo y suave. Murphy prospera con una rutina y en el entorno adecuado y comprensivo, florecerá. Murphy es un Cocker Spaniel de cuatro años buscando un hogar tranquilo, predecible y amoroso con adultos experimentados con perros que entiendan el comportamiento o estén dispuestos a aprender, y continúen con el entrenamiento basado en refuerzo positivo. Busca ser el único perro en el hogar, y un hogar sin gatos, pequeños animales peludos o ganado. Murphy amaría la oportunidad de socializar con otros perros cuando salga. Está entrenado para ir al baño, viaja bien en el automóvil y podría soportar una casa bastante ocupada. Murphy es amigable con los visitantes del hogar y estaría contento con niños visitantes tan jóvenes como once años. Tuvo buen historial de estar bien solo durante algunas horas a la vez. Murphy is super sweet! He likes soft toys, and he’s ball mad. He will drop a ball right at your feet ready for a game of fetch. He’s a bright lad! He enjoys playing scent games - finding hidden treats like a treasure hunt and doing puzzle toys like a stuffed Kong. Murphy is affectionate, and builds strong bonds, in the evenings he adores snuggling up to you on the sofa. Murphy likes any treats on offer; he knows a sit, paw, wait, and stay. He will happily walk for miles, and please bear in mind when applying that he is strong on his lead. His favourite places to walks are beaches or trails, and he is happy to meet and greet other dogs along the way. Murphy specifically resource-guards socks and items should never be taken off him. Management can be in place so he doesn’t have to come across any socks, and if he does, we can give you guidance and training so you are confident should this arise. Murphy finds towel drying stressful and will need a calm, gentle approach to this. Murphy thrives with a routine and in the right environment and understanding he will flourish. Murphy is a four-year-old Cocker Spaniel looking for a calm, predictable and loving home with dog savvy adults who either understand behaviour, or are willing to learn, and carry on with positive reinforcement training. He is looking to be the only dog in the home, and a home without cats, small furries, or livestock. Murphy would love the opportunity to socialise with other dogs when out and about. He is housetrained, he travels well in the car, and he could cope with a reasonably busy household. Murphy is friendly with visitors to the home and would be happy with visiting children as young as eleven. Murphy had good history of being okay left alone for a few hours at a time. He is happy to be groomed at the groomers.
